  1. I'm really loving the apache, I feel like this is a very good release for EA. I can do basically everything I want with it, and it feels very polished, a lot of fun also. I have not encountered any bugs so far. Now I'm just waiting for them to add 1200 rounds of gun ammo and the auto track function with TADS
  2. Did you load different types of rockets at the same time? That is an invalid loadout I believe. Quote BIGNEWY from other post "Please use weapon presets in mission editor to avoid possible Mi-24P weapon system conflicts (same as IRL)."
  3. That is because your canopy is open Here is my test: Canopy open you hear the ground crew fine Canopy closed batt OFF switch to ICS, you cant hear Canopy closed batt ON switch to radio, you cant hear Canopy closed batt ON switch to ICS, you can hear. But i think we all agree on when the engine is on you cant hear, and that is a bug.
  4. It works 100% as I said if your engines are OFF If your engines are on it does not work, that is a bug.
  5. Again try what i said in game, you will find it works exactly like I said. I dont know exactly how the real mi-24 ICS and interphone works. What I said works 100% in DCS. Its how its modelled currently in the hind, or maybe previously or still is in the mi8.
  6. It DOES work, try it yourself before commenting. If it doesnt work you are doing something wrong Also im not sure you know what ICS is. In the hind you can hear the ground crew if you have your canopy open. But if you close it, you cant anymore, which makes sense. How are they supposed to talk to you thru the thick glass while all of your radios are off? Enable the radios and flip to ICS and volume up it will work. Again try everything I said before saying it doesnt work. The radio/ICS works the same way in the mi-8, but i think they might have changed it, this im not sure.
  7. Switch Radio/ICS switch UP to ICS, Turn the ICS volume all the way up using the knob. Turn on the ICS power switch on the left radio wall. Obviously your battery needs to be on. Then you can hear ground crew. Make sure to switch Radio/ICS switch DOWN to Radio after rearming.
  8. Its the autopilot channels return to center when you press the trim button, I think this is a bug? Since the trim button in the mi-8 is very very smooth and doesnt introduce any jerk at all from the autopilot channels.
  9. There are two variants in the game, but you cant change the controls separately in-game, since only one shows up in the controls menu. But there are two folders in saved games. SpitfireLFMkIX and SpitfireLFMkIXCW And here comes the problem, I NEVER EVER fly the CW, but the game sometimes chooses to use CW controls (from saved games). And sometimes it chooses to use the non-CW controls(from saved games). And it creates even more problems when you try to change something in the controls, sometimes it saves to the CW, sometimes it saves to normal variant. I'm not really sure whats happening here, is this a bug or an overlooked problem? I remember this happening a year ago, and its still happening now. What control folder it really uses or it uses both? Why my normal spitfire uses CW controls sometimes???
  10. JDAM guidance is kinda off for a really long time now, I've been having issues with them since early 2020. You need to nurse them carefully, drop them around mid range, and always drop them high, at least above 6000ft AGL, I always drop them above 8000. This would give you good accuracy. The bomb guidance needs to be fixed I think, the glide path is very wacky in some cases. Sometimes the bomb flies right above the target, then take a 90 degree nose dive, and it misses because it corrects too much at terminal. And its really random, replaying the track a few times, it doesnt even have the same hit/miss results, the bomb is doing different stuff everytime you replay the track. (From my old test, havent tested them after GBU54 came out, but I dont feel like the glide path changed for better.)
  11. The manual says 600-1100 RPM should be avoided at all costs to prevent engine damage. So should you retard the throttle to full idle after touchdown when landing, or keep the RPM above 1100? I find the A8 quite hard to slow down on the ground (and in the air) compared to other warbirds, I find myself needing to use brakes heavily to get it stopped in a short distance. And in the air it doesnt slow down fast too, in the spitfire, if you pull the throttle back its like an air brake. So I sometimes sideslip the anton, or use manual pitch to max RPM, and pull the throttle back to 1200 rpm. After learning about the P-47, radial engines can be damaged and fail very quickly due to windmilling, is this a problem in the anton?
  12. Its very very easy to do, all you need to do is to set up a vehicle, - then go to advanced waypoint actions - Perform Command - Set Frequency (anything u want). - then add a new action, Transmit Message. And check the loop below, it will loop your music. Then you can select a audio file to play, note the file must be a specific format, .ogg and one other format is okay, not sure what the other one is. Then you can spawn your huey, tune the radio to that, and you will hear your music ;D
  13. I had the huey multicrew self destruct on me 3 times, im not sure what causes this, i think its lag but it just seems to happen randomly? One time when i was starting on the ground, with another person sitting on the copilot seat, during the startup, the helicopter just broke down and self destructed on its own... The rotors were barely spinning, then it broke off in pieces, then the engine caught fire, then the skids broke... And another time i was on approach slowing down, I was flying very stable, then at about 20 feet my helicopter self destructed again. I asked my copilot if i crashed into the ground on his screen but he didnt give me an answer. Definitely more research and tests need to be done on this, ED pls fix.
  14. This has been happening for a long time. GBU-54 does the same. The best you can do is release them at about the half point of the release window, if it still falls long them release them a bit earlier, but if you release it too early the bomb will fall short. Its really annoying getting a good JDAM hit is like rolling a dice, and ED is not fixing it.
  15. Why did u find mi-8 unenjoyable to fly? I love how the mi-8 flies, its just so stable, smooth. Its heavy so its hard for beginners to handle, but if you got enough hours to get the hang of it, its the most satisfying helicopter to fly.
