  1. The screen one for sure. Love it!! Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk
  2. I have been using the same few mods for months with zero issues. These are not sound mods either. One is just adding some different ground units to Irans ground units and the Smerch and SA-8. I have also used the SP F-14 TPOD mod. It seems though that since the update to 2.5.6 that any alterations or mods in the main DCS installation folder now will not allow the game to launch. Tried to see if it was a specific MOD that was causing the issue by trying to load it with only the single MOD installed each time and the same results every time. Repair fixes the issue though, but as soon as anything is changed in the install folder it does it again. Anyone else? Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  3. This is for HUD Symbology, I am talking about the point track Symbology for the Lightning and other TPOD's for DCS. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  4. I have noticed that in pretty much every simulation of the TGP in DCS the Point track symbology has been wrong, DCS has simulated point track AS just a box that pops up and doesnt adjust to the size of the target you are trying to track, at least in the F/A-18C and F16 now. The A10 has the ability to adjust to the size of the target but does it automatically and not very Well in most cases. When Studying the symbology in many publically available videos of US Aircraft using the lightening POD and similar ones like the ATFLIR POD, sniper and such, one thing has been common that point track is manually adjustible to the size of the target that is being aquired for greater accuracy in targeting and weapons delivery. This is even modeled in Falcon BMS4.34, I would love to see more care and attention given to being accurate in the simulation of the TPOD's as for me and Others I have discussed this with it would greatly increase immersion and the sense of being in control of a real TPOD and Plus it just looks cool! 5. Same cannot get the walleye to drop. Dont understand how this crap gets past their supposed bug testing they say they do before they release the update. I cant even get the thing to lock hardly ever either Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  6. I noticed that inside the cockpit then scripts script's folder in the for the F-16 there is a folder and LUA files for a "sight camera", is this something that is going to implemented like we see in those videos off line of F-16's doing BFM training? If so it would be awesome, and since the LUA files are present already is there a way to enable this already? Thanks!!
  7. Guess I mistakenly thought you was confirming this in your answer, all good just a misunderstanding. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  8. can confirm the voice message system doesn't work, I even asked wags about this on facebook before it released yesterday to which he said it was working. Guess not. neither do we have proper F16 rwr sounds.
  9. I think something that would be awesome is the ability either in permission on in dynamic campaign to add a personal aircraft option like having one single F/A-18 that is your which you have to keep up like gereral maintenance through the whole campaign/mission. Have a squadron implementation with like the new Super Carrier or with ground Airbase where you can do all such things like launch missions, keep track of kills, customize your squadron, upgrade your aircrafts (Like adding the new missles for the KA50). Just a thought that I believe would bring this Sim so far superior than any other sim out. This could be extended to combined arms with Tanks, APCs and such for maintaining your ground forces. Hope someone sees this and considers it or builds on it. Thank you for the best Combat Simulator out there, and the amazing work by everyone!! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  10. I mentioned a few times about my self seeing surface to Air launches in Isreal which is what he was referring to. And the pictures were not meant to be the main focus because they are screen shots from the video linked in the OP which is what I was wanting to be more referenced since this is a very close look at how they look when seeing them launch in person at night. 11. My argument was never about relocating the visual effects from a cameras point of view. The pictures are not that great because they are screen shots from the video linked in my OP. I understand you have photography experience, but I can't get out there and shoot off a SAM or sonething to prove my point, I can only provide what I can that most closely represents what its like to see in person (not perfectly)which I seen more than 25 times, I also met a group of IDF Iron Dome battery Soldiers at a working live battery which you can go to if you ever go to Isreal. I just want a better more immersive Sim for all of us. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah you are probably right. But missle burners are pretty important game feature so maybe we will some improvements here in the next year or so as they move along with the new terrian engine used for the new upcoming maps. Glad that you seems to know that this is something that needs work, the other guy wants argue after I have seen with my naked eye a SAM missle launch at night when I was doing contract work in Isreal 2 years ago and they are very bright when they are in launched. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  13. Thats not true. Yes some cameras over expose but not to such a degree that it looks like a sun in the camera. Thats not over exposure. I have seen missle launches before in my career in my past. They do very much light up the clouds and make bright flashes. These pictures and video I posted are very close to naked eye. You can see the same with almost all videos of SAM missle launches at night. DCS Certainly needs to have some adjustments on missle and afterburner illumination and ambient light pollution on the environment. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  14. If you look at videos of SAM being launched they are always bright glowing and cast light all around on clouds, also see the same effect from afterburners on jets. Currently we dont have much to see as far a lighting with missles and afterburner. Lighting is one of the more major things that when simulated well can really increase immersion. As I have noticed a good increase in gun hit effects, explosions still seem to be a bit dull on lighting. Would love to see this inproved and simulated more realisticly. Attaching a video to show an example from Syria. Thank-you guys for such great and hard work and the best combat sim to date! https://youtu.be/P5oh6cIDZtE Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
