  1. I've been playing this campaign and I'm enjoying it, but I've found the next bugs, the second one particularly annoying: Mission 1: One of my T-72 got stuck BELOW a bridge. Not a big deal but ugly effect (like if it has magnetic tracks). Mission 2: Air Defense: I've got attacked many positions and defended them all. I've had a problem on the first attack on position A, I shoot down a Hind but didn't explode. I've had to move my Shilka to a position where I could see the Hind, shoot and explode it in the ground.I spent some time until I've realized this. Then I've refused like 3 or 4 attacks more, shooting down all the hinds (and I believe exploding them). But nothing else happens, I'm sure something has to trigger but it just don't do. I've searched for unexploded Hinds but I didn't found any. So I had to quit the mission and it gives me a Failes Mission and steps to the next one, which I don't agree. How can I step back to the second mission of the campaing, maybe editing a .lua file? And how can I prevent these triggering problems?
  2. Yes, there is some carrier comms in the game already. I've been requested by the LSO to call the ball, but not always.
  3. Really nice addition! Would definitely make easier AAR for people like me. Can't wait to try it.
  4. Absolutely trust on those, but better to look on eBay as stated by the previous colleague -even more cheap - have been using these keys for years on multiple rigs (for personal use, not professional) and no problem at all.
  5. The 30% discount is already applied to Steam price (32 EUR in my case), so you have the same discount as in the e-shop (30% preorder + 20% hornet). I paid 26 EUR on Steam few days ago (when I published in this thread that I got the coupon).
  6. Ok, I've just received a 20% discount coupon for the DCS Supercarrier on Steam... and it's available for preorder. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1120305/DCS_Supercarrier/
  7. Would be great to have at least some kind of navigation system. ADF system could be ported directly from the L-39 and some integration with the NS430 would be perfect.
  8. I really think ED needs to clarify this. Will the Steam users any kind of discount for purchase the Hornet on Steam, or they even get the possibility to preorder the EA of the supercarrier...? @NineLine please could you add some light to this? Thanks
  9. Thank you guys for your last attempts to help me, I solver the problem couple of messages ago. :):)
  10. Hello again guys, I just wanted to say thank for your support, Finally I found that the PSU was the culprit, after replace it by the exact same model it didn't failed again. @toutenglisse, you were absolutely right, thanks. Just saying for anyone that could suffer this problem or similar. Thanks!
  11. Thanks so much guys for your help. I've been doing some tests and I have found how to reproduce the problem. I had to make a clean OS installation as in one of these reboots the OS was damaged. So now I have a clean install, just OS and drivers. I run the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, and do a quick benchmark (not the stress test). When I launch the benchmark, it reboots. I've recorded the shutdown/reboot, you can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZNK8ViMeqE&feature=youtu.be I've found that if I run with one stick of RAM only, it runs fine. I've tested both so doesn't seem that one is damaged. I can launch the benchmark multiples times and it runs perfect. I tried to change the RAM slots (originally 2-4, I've moved the RAM to 1-3 positions). Then I can run the benchmark fine, 3, 4, 5, 6 times without problem. But one hour later, I try to run it again and it reboots. I've switched off the XMP Profile (memories slowed down from 3000Mhz, 1.35v to 2133Mhz, 1'2v) and it happens the same: I can run the benchmark fine, 3, 4, 5, 6 times. I wait one hour, and when launching the benchmark it reboots again. I can not understand how making those changes in the RAM it is working fine and some time later it fails again. It's not a temperatures problem as it barely goes over 50ºC on this bench. I don't think it's a PSU fail because the GPU has no load on this bench. I can only imagine that somehow the motherboard can not provide enough power when both sticks of RAM installed. I would like to try to increase the voltage of the RAM sticks but I don't know which value I would need or if it's safe. The PC has no overclock at all, BIOS is updated and all options are in auto. Any other idea before replacing the motherboard?
  12. Thank you so much for your help guys. I was re-downloading DCS from scratch, and meanwhile I was lightly surfing, the PC REBOOTED itself again. So, IT IS NOT a problem with DCS (at least DCS was the only way to trigger it, until now). I'm thinking on the PSU as @toutenglisse pointed out, so I will try to get an RMA. Thanks again and I'll come back if I can get the issue solved.
  13. Hello, I've recently updated my PC (actually everything is new except for flight peripherals) and when I play DCS World the computer suddenly reboots often. It's like a full shutdown, when I press the reset/restart button of my PC, the fans, RGBS, still running and it reboots. But when in DCS World, it full stops everything and restart after 1-2 seconds of full shutdown. I know it's not a temperatures problem because I run perfectly fine any other game, even with a stress test the CPU and GPU doesn't go too high, CPU on 75ºC max and GPU on 70ºC max. And also it happens when I start a mission and I'm doing the cold start (let's say 1 minute after starting DCS, so no heat in the components). My PC components are: i7-8700K + Scyte Mugen Rev. B MSI RTX 2070 Gaming 8GB MSI Z370-A PRO CORSAIR DDR4 32GB 2X16GB 3000 VENGEANCE RGB PRO BL CORSAIR CX750M 80+Bronze 240GB + 2TB SSD TM HOTAS Cougar Track IR 5 TM Rudder Pedals I know it has to be something related to DCS because it only happens when using DCS. Runs perfectly fine in every other situation. Also tried to check the integrity files with no luck. Updated every drivers, with no luck. Please, could someone help me? It's really frustrating because I bought this new PC to run DCS decently and I can't even stay few minutes in it. Many thanks in advance
  14. I'm interested in buying a set of sensors for my Cougar stick. I have sent you an email. Thanks,
  15. I hope not. On a sim like DCS, or any other sim racing, we need very precise inputs and minimum input lag that we can. Add the latency of an internet connection and it results in a bad idea. But the worst thing of Stadia is that is an absolutely closed platform: you buy the game, and play it, that's everything. This is totally contrary on what sim and PC communities have ever been: Goodbye mods, goodbye editing luas, goodbye customized drivers, custom setups... Could be great to play FIFA or call of duty or whatever on a mobile phone, but really can't see the point in DCS.
  16. Actually I think that's the right behaviour and the OP is currently asking for the absence of this rudder needs.
  17. Big thanks to ED. I have to say, since I discovered DCS and its modules, any other PC game or leisure activity it's like a light entertainment between flight time in this second life that is DCS. Keep it up!!
  18. It's a shame, I'm actually flying this module again and I'm enjoying it pretty much, but they need to fix the bugs and add some sort of navigation system. I really hope they finish it. ED usually finish the modules, except this one...
  19. Last Christmas I bought a new sealed TM Hotas Cougar, and it works really well, but I have heard that it ages badly. My question is: Is there any upgrade available to the TM Cougar (hall sensors for the throttle...) or anyone knows where to find it? Did a little search and found nothing... Is there something still available? (a part from the throttle USB connection, which I don't really need) Many thanks in advance,
  20. I have bought a new sealed Cougar last Christmas. This is going to be interesting, can't wait for it. Will be early access and pre-order for Steam version?
  21. The L-39 does not have fly-by-wire system, it's a "manual" flying instead. I don't know to which other aircraft are you comparing but if it's a modern jet it for sure will be so different. It's a just a matter of get used to it: I recommend to play a lot more with the trims than in other planes, as you have to be very smooth with him.
  22. That sounds more like a bug of the I-16 to me; I can land the Yak-52 on grass surfaces with no problem.

    Learning new a/c

I go one by one, not try to learn multiples modules together. I start by reading the manual, at least the basics. Then I concentrate on different systems. - Ramp start, taxi and takeoff - Landings - Navigation - Radar, countermeasures - Weapons ... On each one I try to use the manual, training missions and youtube tuorials. I try not to go to the next thing until I feel comfortable with previous one, It's easier for me to assume every concept isolated from the others and joining them slowly, than try to learn multiple things at once.
  24. Many thanks guys, I was sure that there was more content on Instant Action, but didn't check on "Mission" area. Thanks again and sorry for being such a noob.
  25. Hello, I'm relatively new to DCS, I've been flying for last 6 months or so. I'm actually learning the Hornet so the "Instant Actions" missions are helpful to me: Navigation practices, weapon systems, etc. Since one or two updates near all these Instant Action missions had gone and they doesn't appear on my menu anymore. For example in NTTR there were like 15 or so and now it only shows 4. Can I bring them back somehow? How can I fly this missions again? Many thanks in advance.
