Is there any way to disable the other utilities in the DSC MAX? For instance I added my GF Keys and TS Overlay... I really dont want them on there but can't figure out how to remove them.

Is there anyway to adjust the Schkval scroll rate?? My Schkval cursor seems to just drag soo slow across the screen. Is there any way to go into the config and adjust the speed of it?

Possibly... $50 is still a big chunk of change. I would consider it (if) there was some added content. I also hope that the photos in teh english version are of the english cockpit.

I like weather.. nothing over the top but a (little) snow or wind does seem to give a better atmosphere to the place.

I am getting an error "cannot open.\BlackShark\BlackShark.lua:No such file or directory" I am able to use V1.1 and on 1.2 I added GFKeys and TSOverlay. How are you able to delete utilities you add? BTW -- 1.1 still works for me

Kingsnake -- you are so not "wasting time" with this stuff. It is such a huge gift to the FS community to have good missions to play. Who the hell wants to fly a real plane at 4am anyway?? Secondly the avgas is way cheaper on your pretend KA50 than in a real Cessna 172.

I used to be able to take sshots and then go retrieve them in the as folder. Now I take them(squadmates are telling me it shows I have taken them via ingame message) and the as folder is empty. Any idea where else they can be located? The only thing I have done is install and uninstall modman.

Also in settings make sure that you ae NOT running in windowed mode. I usually get about 30 - 35fps. I had a similar problem the other day and found when I was configuring my new joystick setup I had placed my game in windowed mode with a 1024x768 res. So I could see all the ingame commands and have the CH Control manager up on the sam monitor together. I ended up resetting the res to whaver it is for my 24" display but still had it running in windowed mode (though you would not know it because it took up the whole screen). That one little change got my game back to playable... Not sure if thats your issue but certainly something to check. Also make sure your anti virus isnt running its daily scan in the backround. That one is a killer for me. Good luck

The TRACK CLIP PRO is the better of the two. Works like a charm - You'll love it. The hat clip is a pain IMO -- I have had both. Actually I have had three.. but lets not count or talk about that stupid dot I used to stick to the middle of my forehead when I couldn't find my TrackHat.

I have seen an issue like this on one of the online servers. It was asthough your wheels were frozen in the mud and ice. The only way to take off (it only effected a few spawn points that were off the pavement) was to give massive amount of collective very quick so you brea free. If you tried a gentle rise off the ground it would send you crashing left or right into the ground. I am aware of the breaks FWIW... I have not seen that map in rotation lately though. Not sure what server it was but hey there one only like 8 servers online at any given time an 2 that are not locked down... Likely someone else here suffered the same fate. Once I figured it out I would pick a slot that spawned on the tarmac. In a spot that gave me a good view of others falling over. :)

Yep Ka50.com does seem to be the only happening place in the ka50 multiplayer realm. Cool bunch of misfits to spend evenings online with. I am with ya Hannibal... KA50.COM FTW

I wish for Apache with ability to have 2 players flying in the same aircraft, I wish for 2 choppers,2 ground attack planes (I.e. Frogfoot and warthog).

Thanks CyBerkut. I diables the disengage command hoping that might provide a fix. I did not unfortunately. What they need is an EMERGENCY AUTOPILOT ENGAGE button. :cry:

They shoot me down plenty... But I too have noticed some very strange missile behavior. I wonder if it has anything to do with the skill level set in the mission editor.

Thanks for the reply. very helpful Combat damage -- Not this as it happens at times before I even take damage or engage in hostilities. Power outage resulted by low RPM of rotors -- Ill keep an eye on this, I am assuming I would get the low RPM warning correct? Abrupt maneuvers -- possible I suppose but has happened when I am not doing anything too awfully abrupt as well. Too much positive/negative Gs -- not sure as it happens when I might be in a hover scanning for enemy AP oscillations (I don't know if it is really modeled). -- I'll pretend I didn't read this as I have no idea what it is and would be sure to make a fool of myself Thanks again for the reply. Could someone please offer some input into this issue for me. But before I get it it I will preface it by saying that I have talked to others (it occasionally happens to them as well), I have searched the manual (but I may be missing something) and I have dissected my HOTAS profile looking for a conflict... Why out of the blue does my Heading, Bank and Pitch AP buttons turn OFF for no apparent reason?? Everything will be going just fine then all the sudden I find myself fighting to keep fine control of my aircraft. I will look down and sure enough they are all turned off. Then in the mist of trying NOT to scrape my Schval camera into the dirt I will turn them all back on. Is this a bug, or is there a button that releases them all at once I am unaware of? It sucks.

What I mean is find your target in the Schval (approximately) so its at least in the screen. this is why god invented the Helmet Mounted Sight :) Then I will zoom in with my views... Cockpit views. I use a TrackIR but I also have a button mapped on my throttle that zooms my cockpit view in all the way. Then zoom in on the Schval and take a look around. The level of detail is insane. You will become a MANPAD killer with this view. I will likely set up another monitor just for the Schval camera but have been too lazy and stupid to set it up even though its sitting right here on my desk.

Here are my 5 tips: 1. Fly online... when you do be sure to get on the Voice Comm (i.e. Teamspeak) for that particular server. I reccomend the KA50.com server for good communication and friendly folks. 2. Communication is key. Sort your squak codes and know where your buddies are (and are not) 3. Get to know what the equipment looks like. From even 8 - 10km away if you zoom the Schval in.. and then zoom in on that it will give you a really good look. Even if you dont know if what you are looking at is a good guy or bad.. zoom around and find the supporting units. You need to know the mission but if you see a Humvee with a TOW on the top of it chances are good he will not give the the red carpet welcome if you're flying red that day. If you are playing online the best way really (outside of just keeping your situational awareness) is to get to know what the equipment looks like. Zoom in on the Schval and then zoom in on that with your cockpit views. Get yourself in a good safe spot in a good solid hover and bury your face in the SCHVAL monitor and see what is around. It gives you a REAL good look at it from even 8 - 10km away. 4. Know the helo skins for both sides. This sim is a bit odd at the moment as Turkey may be fighting Russia both flying KA50's. The skins are ALWAYS different. If you zoom you can get a good look at it and IFF. 5. I have to repeat it - get on Teamspeak and communicate. That way if you buddyspike a teammamte you'l hear him screaming about getting locked up. Its a lot easier to NOT pull the trigger than to say you're sorry

No way in heck it will be 55 bucks. Kinkos is making a KILLING at that price they quoted but 55 is STILL stupidly insane. A decent printing company can rip those things out dirt cheap in full color.

I think you can get further than 8km a bit in manual mode can't you? Maybe I am wrong but I thought you could...
