  1. Is this just how bad the real the Fulcrum ATT hold is?  The constant wobbling around on AP is so visually irritating that it makes me almost get motion sickness.  It's so bad that I honestly would just rather fly the plane manually the whole time, except that it's also nearly impossible to trim for level flight in the roll axis so whenever I go heads down and look back up I'm rolling 10-20 degrees and off course.  It seems to be always slightly rolling left or right.  Is this how she was in real life?  Maybe I'm doing something wrong and it's just me.

I love flying this thing in every other regard.  Awesome bird overall, but just getting from point A to point B requires pretty high workload just to keep her flying straight.  I swear I can keep the Bf109 in level flight easier.

  2. i read above we can "disable" them?  is that different than uninstalling the files?  how is this done?

OK nevermind i figured that out in the module manager.

I disabled all airplane mods and the issue was fixed.  Now I'm adding them back one at a time to test which ones are ok.

    So far these are OK:

    • Grinelli F-22
    • Grinelli Edge540
    • Community A-4
    • OV-10 Bronco
    • VSN T-45

    And these are not:

    • Codename Flanker SU-30

  3. Is it possible to change something in the DCS configuration files so that when I go the 'Mission' page on the Main Menu, the "My Missions" folder in the list on the left points to a different folder than my 'SavedGames\DCS\Missions' folder?  Ideally, I would like that link to point towards a Windows OneDrive location so that I can manage missions on a cloud drive and then load them into the game more easily instead of having to navigate to the OneDrive location every time I choose a mission.  Thanks in advance.

  4. What a great read!  I spent the last couple days just flying her.  Lots of approaches, experimenting with all the navigation instruments, watching the needles and evaluating various performances.  I'm only now starting my weapons training.

I can't overstate how much I enjoy flying this aircraft. It has so much character and it's both a beast and a sweetheart.  Heatblur has really created something special here.

Reading Victory's post really captures all the things that stood out in my first few flights, but it also provided quite a few nuggets of info that I will be adding to my procedures and checklists tomorrow.  Thank you for that.

My only difference of opinion is... make time for that cold start vs the runway start.  I always have a better flight after a proper start-up... with my whole cockpit setup well before I get my nose pointed down the runway.  It's a pretty quick start&go process, especially with the cartridges.

    Thanks again OP.
