  1. unfortunately i find the current JDAM implementation straight up unusable

     

    gbu54s on cfts for some reason refuse to drop majority of the time when in auto

    gbu31s on wings sometimes disappear from smart weapons page when programmed

    cycling stations sometimes skips one station so you cant program it - at the same time, the drop sequence doesnt jump through programmed bombs but through all bombs, so this unreachable unprogrammed bomb blocks the programmed bombs behind it in sequence...

    sometimes the bomb drops while being in stby instead of rdy state, the sequencing clearly gets desynced somewhere

     

    i have also found a new bug that causes designation with tpod sometimes temporarily move coordinate system by many miles (as if updt to random location but its indeed tgt). very annoying.

    and exiting mission from f15e often crashes the game (didnt happen to me before).

    AUTO PLT is a different caution than ATTITUDE.

    there is no error, the cut off is caused by the box for cautions appearing. what are you complaining about? what "stupid stuff"?

    MC = mission computer, there is 2 of them and they compute what you see on the screens.

    you can write that in lua.

    there is api for asking what units a unit knows about (that would be the scout) and also api for tasking (that would be the artillery).

    but thats still a bug

     

    i find that dcs mission scripting is full of these subtle bugs that are absolute time sink to discover and find work arounds for.

    F15E in DCS does track and lase moving targets, just like all the other modules.

    What it doesnt do is move the designation with the point track.

    You seem to have these 3 things confused.

    thats a feature, not a bug. more realistic radar modeling. as said above, you need to use a different radar channel.

     

    this is also simulated in m-2000.
