  1. Glad ya'll learned something, no one wants another F-16 release. We just want updates on items we have already paid for. EA or not is not the problem. Be nice if ya'll could learn to communicate with more than "Appreciation, Hopefully and Soon."
  2. can't there be a middle ground though? These projects take time and problems arise, come up every time you change something (good lord don't we know it). People will always find something to complain about, it's the shortfall of humanity. But with proper communication (not being silent or or allowing YT to flood with vids that time and time again we have been told would signal a very close release. People get confused. What Wags said is the best thing we could have got. We now know what is going on and for me it's that simple. Ya'll found bugs, BOOM done deal. Get some work done RB, be waiting to fly it.
  3. Hate to tell ya bud but that is the way it rolls around here. Differing opinion must be controlled, topics maintained, and manners......well those are useless in the business world. Best to remember this is a Russian company at heart, control is their entire game plan. @BIGNEWY and @NineLine just wrangle the herd. Best to observe and go to other campfires to discuss "issues".
  4. not new around here I was just saying in general not really at ED anyway cause I know that's not how they operate. 100% on that last part though. We cause a lot of our problems through not understanding the information ED and 3rd Party is putting out there. Oh well, all we can do it wait.
  5. ED does this stuff to themselves. Their lack of communication and transparency is annoying at the very least and its been this way for years. All we ever get is "when we have information we will share it" and they lock the thread. There is nothing wrong with estimated release dates or openly talking about issues with releasing modules, it's just not a business model they wish to adhere to. It sucks but it is their right. Just wish they didn't get butt hurt when we question them is all.
  6. If I remember right, I think they said they were working on George starting the aircraft. It's has to be a sync issue in MP with having him start up. We can perform complex tasks (start-up, etc) using Voice Attack or a StreamDeck. George just needs to get the engines going, we can setup everything else from the front. So it doesn't seem the answer is completely just George starting up the engines. De-sync is still a huge problem in MP. Last night when flying with the squad, when I first entered the CP/G seat I couldn't turn on my NVG goggles (not the PNVS or TADS but just the NVG goggles). If I went back to Select Role and joined the same seat again, everything would look normal (NVGs would work and systems would be up) but 10-15 seconds later the CP/G would go cold and dark. Finally had to just fly using the TADS sight. It sucks they couldn't have this in place at EA release (since they wanted it as complete as possible) as it means we have to be handicapped by George and his blind butt in MP if we don't have friends to join us. Hopefully they can work it out soon, at least they are telling us they are working on it. Not much we can do but wait and hope next $$$ module doesn't refocus their attention and we end up waiting a year or two for this crutch to be removed.
  7. Lucky for us we are going to greatly enjoy this module (know I will) when it does release. Wouldn't matter if they changed the release back to Q1 of 2023, I think they are going to release one of the best EA modules they have done so far. I didn't understand the point of the "going GOLD" tweet/comment/post they did, but I won't ask since it probably classified above T.S. Either way this will be a fun one once it does release.
  8. Other than training missions, I've never heard of one operating from ships. Sure they have landed and rearmed or refueled but that is all. Given EDs past releases and comment history I wouldn't expect them to make this a feature for our AH-64D.
  9. Mid-February at least until they delay it again. I mean how can you be very close to release but can't even Cold Start the aircraft?? Hope they get it right. Ain't mad, just hate that ED can not seem understand how properly communicate time tables. Its been an issue for years but all companies have one or two problems they never fix. Still, ED tends but give us pretty good modules upon EA (minus one or two MAJOR mistakes). Balls in your court ED, just let us know when we can hit the "FLY" button.
  10. As you can see here (Real World Photo) is no attachment point under the Apache to be able to sling load from (UH-60 to the right for reference). My time in the Army and a year on Kandahar, I never saw one with a sling line. Not that it couldn't do it, but more of a why would you want too aspect, IRL anyway. Army has the Chinook and Blackhawk that can sling load just fine plus carry troops. Also remember the KA-50 was never actually used IRL (I think only a few prototypes were even made). Kinda gave ED a lot of room for imagination I think.
  11. Good on ya for rolling back to 2.5.6 till the bugs are sorted. At least you understand the Open Beta concept that many seem to struggle with. I guess I have been a lucky one, having only had 2-3 crashes since the new release. Hopefully ED will have it all sorted by the time the Hind makes her entrance.
  12. that is crazy looking. I have had no issues in VR or without it in 2.7. What kind of VR are you using?
  13. But the blue-ish cockpits where "official" in the USSR?? Someone will share the link I'm sure.
