  1. It worked for me by renaming C:\Program Files\Debugging Tools for Windows (x64) to something else like C:\Program Files\Debugging Tools for Windows (x64)_bak --This should be a temporary solution until the issue is fixed because other software might be using this--

  3. Also try to move it to a short path that does not have spaces or special characters.
  4. Looks great, way better than before. Even the performance is way better.
  5. It is the best dynamic campaign I played this far. Just a few questions: Are there any plans to restore Interception, convoy strike, insurgent strikes, and naval strikes events? If no near-future plans, do you have ideas of how these will work against the current mission workflow? Maybe I try to implement it. If I strike the enemy's assets and once I capture the base, is there is a way to restore these? are there any missions that involve helo's like MI-8 to build these assets again? Thank you very much.
  6. BTW I tried to download the source coude of qt_ui branch and it seems there are several units not in pydcs 0.97? Examples: USS_Arleigh_Burke_II FDDM_Grad Ju_88A4 Sd_Kfz_184_Elefant Am I missing something? Thanks
  7. Ok after opening the lua code Settings "<Player Last Name>". which in my case was that my last name was not set in the logbook. I think that caused a problem for MOOSE. Now it works after changing my last name to something. Thanks
  8. Sorry for the stupid question, but how do I join a task? The command center option does not appear to me at all. I even tried entering frequencies of the airports and nothing. I have enabled everything in the mission editor and joined spectators first. Is this still relevant or it is not needed anymore? or am I missing something? I am on Open Beta https://i.imgur.com/SQZ5X9J.png Thanks for this great mission
  9. If you never drove a car, play the most realistic car simulator game for 100 hours, and then try to drive a manual car and you will be struggling even with the simplest things because you don't have the human-machine interface experience (which what really matters). Flying is a lot more complicated than driving a car! That said, airplanes (especially the modern ones) have far more controls than cars, and knowing how to operate them semi-theoretically will help of course, but IMHO that is only maybe 10% of what it takes to fly a real airplane and controlling your nerves for real stressful situations. To me (and I think many people playing DCS as well), it is great fun to know and experience how these great magnificent machines work and operate, and it really worth it when (even for seconds) the immersion makes you think that you are really flying it. That's, why you see people talking about how each airplane has its own flavor because the most interesting thing to them, is to experience the unique behavior and characteristics, and most importantly (to me) are the ideas behind how this machine operates.
  10. Sorry for the delayed reply Are you using Moose? If so, I think it has functions for this ToString* https://flightcontrol-master.github.io/MOOSE_DOCS/Documentation/Core.Point.html COORDINATE:ToStringLLDDM(Settings) COORDINATE:ToStringLLDMS(Settings) COORDINATE:ToStringMGRS(Settings)
  11. One thing missing (or I can't find it) is coordinates of the target in multiple formats (JDAM, Precise, etc..). Controlling the weather as well, it can make training in different situations possible. Thanks
  12. It's a great mission for training. Thank you very much!
  13. I am playing it as a single player and it is one of the best (if not the best) of the dynamic missions. It is hard though. Yesterday I was hitting a SAM with supporting SEAD and CAP flights. The support flights were destroyed after destroying some enemy caps. Then started to escape from an F5 and 2 Mig29s, after spending all of them on the SAMs and other CAPs. They got me in the end. But, I managed to destroy one SAM site though (the one I did not intend to destroy :D). It was a blast. The great thing about it, is that it is persistent which means you finish it at your own pace.
  14. Thank you for the recommendation. I already tried that. After a lot of trial and error, I found the cause was the custom kneeboard made by KneeboardBuilder. so I deleted C:\Users\<user>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard and it started to load very quickly. The symptoms were, after selecting a slot, it took about 5-10 minutes to load the aircraft. Maybe it is the lua scripts in the kneeboard?
