According to the crash reports you sent to the server, you have enough RAM at the time of the crash. All reports have the last record before the crash: 2022-01-23 19:20:30.825 INFO DX11BACKEND: Compile shader: model/fake_omni_lights.fx:DIRECTX11=true;USE_DCS_DEFERRED=1; or 2022-01-23 19:30:29.962 INFO DX11BACKEND: Compile shader: model/fake_omni_lights.fx:DIRECTX11=true;USE_DCS_DEFERRED=1; or 2022-01-23 19:53:39.456 INFO DX11BACKEND: Compile shader: model/fake_omni_lights.fx:DIRECTX11=true;USE_DCS_DEFERRED=1; I don't think there is such a file in DCS. Therefore: 1. Remove all unofficial mods. Rename the folder C:\Users\svite\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta to any name. Later you will be able to copy your Configure/Input/... settings from this folder. Then start repairing DCS. 2. Update your video card driver at the official NVidia website.

DCS World is not a DLC, it's a basic game. It's normal. You may still have to download these 210 GB...

Is the C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta folder on your antivirus exclusion list (even if it is Windows Defender)?
-
No, this is not normal. There may be a problem with the Steam client. In this case, the client reinstall the game again. Try to clear the download cache. In the Steam client, go to the "Settings" menu. To do this, open the Steam menu in the upper left corner of the client and select "Settings". In the window that opens, select the "Downloads" tab. Click the "Clear Download Cache" button at the bottom. If you still need help, please contact Steam support.

Move the secondary DCS Open Beta folder to the Eagle Dynamics folder (you may need to rename one of the DCS folders). Then you will have two DCS Open Beta folders in the Eagle Dynamics folder. Delete the empty folder and check the update process. If the error occurs again, we wait for you to autoapdate_log.

Don't rush into a purchase. Use a two-week test period to make sure you like the module and the module likes you... The guide is here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/Discount/ If you have any problems, contact support right away: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/ Unfortunately we have very strict rules for returning or exchanging products.

Try increasing the swap file. Large screen resolution + maximum graphics settings + VR + multiplayer. There may not be enough RAM for everything. If increasing the swap file will help, you can buy a couple of extra RAM modules.
-
Hi, please update your graphics card driver at the official NVidia website. Also try renaming the folder P:\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta to any name and run the repair again. In case the game crashes again, wait for a fresh dcs.log

There's snow in Nevada, too... -
Please reset input settings to the original. You should rename or delete folders with user input settings (C:\Users\User_Name\Saved Games\DCS and DCS.openbeta\Config\Input)

Crashing with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED since 2.7.9
maximov replied to BadgerFly's topic in Game Crash
1835-100=1735 MHz. But the reference frequency of the video core is only 1582 MHz in Boost Clock mode (!). Then explain, are you setting records in overclocking or trying to work stable video card performance? -

Nevertheless, attach a screenshot of your video card test when DCS is running. What is the frequency and temperature of the video core and video memory? GPU-Z, MSI Afterburner... -
Crashing with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED since 2.7.9

Given the cost of video cards, I would recommend being fully convinced that the video card is faulty. I've had a couple of cases where a user bought a 3090 after our advice and got the exact same error. M-m-mm, we heard a lot of nice words. But after replacing the video card under warranty, the DCS worked though. This is ideal advice for your situation. -
Crashing with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED since 2.7.9

July, I have the same questions: 1. Does the game crash without TrackIR? 2. Does the game crash in single player? 3. Does the game crash when using the Caucasus map? " Blue/Green/Pink flashes in the middle or corners of my screen, or crashes during GPU intensive events is probably a telling sign" Perhaps the video card is really going through the last days. But sometimes the video card simply does not have enough power from the power supply. And both of these components have been sucking dust into themselves for years. Overheating. -

Tens of thousands of different computers. My game doesn't crash. True, I don't play for a long time...

No, it's not a problem. It is the cause of the crash.
