  1. I just finished the campaign about an hour ago, and can I just say, WOW I cannot sing praises high enough for this phenomenal DLC Campaign. If there's anyone out there who is on the fence for shelling out cash for a campaign, I can safely say that your money will be well spent. Frankly, for the production value of this campaign overall, I am surprised the price is as low as it is! Every mission has a ton of voice acting from many different community members. I have noticed that in some community missions/campaigns, the voice acting can be a bit cheesy and ruin the immersion. However, this is not a problem in TEW3 in my opinion. The voice acting is not "over-done", everyone reacts to each situation appropriately and with the right amount of intensity. Grizzly (the player) and all of his wing men and women have their own easily distinguishable personality and characteristics. I found myself getting attached throughout the campaign, a hallmark of good writing! I would describe the characters as having personalities similar to those of an Ace Combat game (AC 6, perhaps) - which is certainly not a bad thing. It is refreshing to have more than just a robot voice-over or silent pop-ups. Every mission seemed to have its own twist, and even if everything went according to plan, you were on the edge of your seat until you shut the Hog down. Baltic Dragon has done a great job of keeping missions realistic, while still making them exceptionally entertaining. The missions encompassed a wide array of tasks and objectives, and you really do need to have a solid foundation of knowledge concerning the A-10Cs sensors and weapons in order to complete objectives effectively. I found myself using the CDU and setting up weapon profiles far more often than I have in other missions. The level of difficulty was excellent, and was not static throughout the campaign. Some missions were definitely harder than others, but all were challenging in their own ways. Missions varied slightly in length, but most I would say averaged around 1hr-1.5hrs. The time goes by quickly, there was many early evening sorties that turned into early morning sorites! I always found it helpful to study the FRAGOs very carefully and plan out actions accordingly. Speaking of which, the FRAGOs for every mission are incredibly high quality, with most including recon photos if applicable. Very well written and easy to follow. No nonsense. The briefings were story-driven and entertaining, they painted the picture well! I encountered very few bugs during the campaign, and the few that I did were either easily resolvable or not game-breaking. As always, Baltic Dragon responded to feedback and concerns very quickly and was very helpful when I ran into an issue on M16 that caused a trigger to fire too early. Also, keep in mind I'm using the stable release of DCS rather than the beta version. I had very good performance throughout the campaign, and airbases/AOs had very good scenery placement. There are several airbases you visit throughout the campaign, and every one was unique and felt quite realistic/alive. I run DCS on an MSI GS63VR Stealth laptop (i7 7700HQ, GTX 1060, 16gb RAM, 256gb SSD and 1TB hard drive) at high settings and didn't experience many frame dips. I would definitely say I am far more confident flying the A-10C after having played this campaign. I am more familiar with systems that I seldom used previously, and am able to multitask far better than I was before. TL;DR, buy this campaign as soon as possible. It's a load of fun, it's engaging, it's exceptionally entertaining. It's worth every penny, and Baltic Dragon clearly put many hours of hard work into constructing this highly produced piece of content. I am happy to answer any questions from anyone still on the fence about the campaign. Cheers!
  2. Excellent! Could the problem be that I am running the Stable version of DCS vs the Beta version? I know the campaign was first released for the Beta version. I'm relatively new to DCS, so I apologize if that's obvious. Regardless, thanks for your quick response. Thanks for a compelling campaign, definitely the most fun I've had in DCS so far!
  3. Greetings! Getting straight to the point, On mission 16 after , I can never seem to get to the AO in time to save the HVA. It doesn't matter if I leave early and fly balls to the walls to get there ASAP, the HVA always dies before I can get there. I have managed to save them once, but as soon as I do, the HVA is killed by the mortar teams instantly afterwards. Is this a known bug? Am I doing something wrong? I hate to skip a mission, the campaign has been excellent so far and I haven't run into any bugs I haven't been able to get past myself until now. Any guidance would be appreciated. Cheers!
