  1. Sedenion (or whomever has the answer), I tried using your mod. It doesn't work for me. When I try to install a mod, it only installs the content of the mod folder in the target location, not the folder itself. So when I try to install a second mod, it tells me that there is a package overlap. Is there a way for each mod to keep its folder? This issue was probably discussed elsewhere, but I can't find it unfortunately. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide,
  2. Thank you very much for your prompt and accurate response Apocalypse 31. It works very well indeed. This made my day!
  3. Some people say that Stingers are infantry playable. What does that mean? If that is the case, I'd like to use them as a human JTAC, much like a HMMWV. Is that possible and, if so, how do you do it? Thanks in advance for any answer you can provide.
  4. Great answer, even if it dates back a few years!
  5. That's what made it work for me as well, by reducing the weight.
  6. I beg to differ. 50 targets is plenty for some of us who fly the Apache. Perhaps, there should be an option to opt in or out.
  7. Great answer Jester 986! The dogfight mode was the issue.
  8. Ok, but to answer the initial question, should the NO RAD be shown above the elipse when holding TMS forward?
  9. Good day all, Has anyone tried to use the Impact Azimuth setup for the GBU-38? According to the user guide, by setting the heading, the bomb will attempt to fly to the target using that heading during the terminal phase. It doesn't seem to work for me. The bomb isn't making any correction. Any info on this would be appreciated.
  10. toutenglisse, thanks for the tip! I'll give a try.
  11. Hi guys, I'm unable to destroy planes and helicopters when they are on the ground. They do get some damage when they get hit, but they rarely show as being destroyed, even after adding triggers such as "Explode Unit". Anyone knows how to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance,
  12. Poptart, thank you for your explanation. Much appreciated.
  13. The AH-64D Quick Start Guide on page 234 indicates that for VMC Takeoff and VMC Level Acceleration Takeoff, one should apply forward cyclic for a 90-knot climb attitude (wings level). What does this exactlty means? I just don't get what a 90-knot climb attitude is. I would really appreciate it if anyone who knows the answer explains it to me or direct me to a video that covers this issue. Thanks in advance,
  14. Thanks for this great addition to DCS. Just curious, however. When landing with the F-18 on the Super Carrier, I would say that I can land it on first try 9 times out of 10 when no wind and clear sky. On the Forrestal, however, this is the opposite. I miss my landing 9 times out of 10 using the same technique as when I'm landing on the Super Carrier. I was wondering if some of you are experiencing the same issue. Thanks in advance,
  15. Same happens to me. Would like some help please.
  16. Yep, being able to see waypoints for clients on the F10 map would be most useful, especially now that we can do mission briefings in multiplayer using the new draw tool (in the mission editor).
  17. Xavven has to correct answer indeed. I works very well.
  18. This is great information, I couldn't figure out what was missing until I read your post. Thanks!
  19. In the "Briefing" window before clicking "Fly", the background image sometimes shows the image of an enemy airplane set in the mission editor. This is not very useful in multiplayer if you want to keep it as a surprise for the other players. Is there any way to ensure that the image is either on our side or neutral? Thanks in advance.
  20. The new "Picture to all" is a great addition to the trigger options. It works very well in single player, but doesn't work in multiplayer for me. I wonder if someone else is experiencing this issue.
  21. Thanks toutenglisse, I tried your mission and it works very well. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
  22. Ironwulf, Thanks for the info. I've tried your explanation, but it doesn't work for me. Have you yourself been able to make it work? If so, would you be so kind as to provide further information as to how to implement it. In my case, I was trying to send a message to all that a specific building had been destroyed. Thanks in advance,
  23. CakeSorbus, Thank you for your quick response concerning the JTAC. I tried your suggestion and it works very well indeed. Since I also utilize CTLD, and wanted to add 3 JTACs to autolase with different codes and smokes, I created three Reapers that I called jtac1, jtac2 and jtac3 respectively and included in the Advanced (Waypoints actions) the following: Under "Perform Task", I added Orbit; Under Perform Command, I added Run Script with the following: For the first JTAC: ctld.JTACAutoLase('jtac1#001', 1681, true,"all", 3), for the second JTAC: ctld.JTACAutoLase('jtac2#001', 1682, true,"all", 0) and for the third JTAC ctld.JTACAutoLase('jtac3#001', 1683, true,"all", 1); Thanks again,
  24. Thank you for your great work CakeSorbus. I just have a question. One thing I would like when I'm in game is the ability to spawn a reaper to act as JTAC. Is this something that can be done with Gamemaster and, if so, how would you do it? Thanks
