Thats for all the help guys, this forum has been a pleasure. Even though I hadnt been flying for months I still spent a lot of time on here reading up. Without doubt the friendlyest forum ive come across. Anyway the Hotas + the Track IR have now been sold so I guess its back to desert strike for me lol. I have an x52 and left alt, right alt, left shift, right shift all work as they should. This wasnt the case when I first bought it but a software update added the function. SST Version 6.2.2.0 The way I did it was to use the SST software and use "New Advanced Command" not "Macro" Be aware that it records exactly how you press the keys on the keyboard. Pressing one key once will give you 2 key icons in the lil window, 1 for press, 1 for release so just press "Lalt T" as you would in game and it should work. :)

Sounds promising, last time I looked I found it hard to find some flight buddies. Think MP is the way forward for both fun and the learning curve, will have to check it out soon to steal info on the shark :)

Hi Zokier 1st off I too use vista not XP and AA and AF works with no problems. What I am posting about though is individual game profiles for CCC. Open CCC and set all your 3d settings to what you want so uncheck App control on AA and AF, AI standard ect then click profiles tab at top, select profiles manager. Put DCS in profile name then be sure to check the box "All Catalyst Control Center Settings" Then select Applications tab, check the box "Opens following application" then click the browse button next to it. Locate then DCS.exe and save your settings. Then to load DCS right click the CCC in tool tray go to activate profile DCS, I set a profile for every game on comp and launch them all this way. On the screenshot all these profiles have settings individual per app :)

I tried freetrack before buying TIR4pro, spent £15 or so on the parts needed although I already had a webcam. Spent all day pissing around with my soldering iron and bits of wire trying to make the clip for a baseball cap. When finnished I found out that nearly all webcams have an IR filter in front of the lense which can be removed but my cam cost £90 so didnt fancy that.. after much messing (which was quite fun I admit) it all went in the bin and TIR4pro got ordered. Never looked back. Also comes in handy for Race07 :D

For the resolutions you are using on the main screen 1920x1080 id guess that the ATI 4870 would want more than 512 meg of ram

Does * still zoom in using the keyboard? Did you clear the bands in SST? have they gone back in right? Is SST software loading the right profile when it detects your x52?
