  1. Thanks for the reply. Easy comms was on for some reason (probably because of a new install) and that appears to be the culprit.
  2. When starting the mission, a prompt states to make an f10 radio remark before startup, but no F10 option is present. Radioing the ground and tower frequency doesn't prompt a response from the AI ATC. Moving along on your own breaks the mission, producing a terse message that you should have asked for permission, and again that you should have waited for permission to taxi. Then you're asked to hold short and wait for everyone else to move, but nothing happens. At least this time an F10 prompt on the radio appears. Waiting for a few minutes does nothing and yet again a terse remark is shown if you decide to take the runway. What am I doing wrong or is something broken in the mission? Is this a bug with the F10 radio messages?
  3. Okay, so it's good to see I'm not the only one having problems. I was psyched for the mission, but lead just goes full bore and rises faster then I can and then moves faster than the 100 knots. Instant fail a minute in. It's good to know that it wasn't just me. I've loved the campaign to this point. I guess I'll wait for an update in the patch notes.
  4. Cats 3 and 4 get blocked by a damaged Cobra that flies in and parks a few minutes into INS alignment. This happens about 1/2 to 1/3 of the time I've tried playing the mission. Since cats 1 and 2 are already blocked by other hornets, this effectively causes a restart when it does happen. This is on the Super Carrier version of the campaign.
  5. Hi all! I've been digging all throughout the dds files for the M-2000C and I can't find any map that specifies what part of the skin glows when formation lights are turned on, or any light for that matter. Is this even possible? I'm hoping there is a map/mask that will allow me to set a glow map or (even better) something that will let me specify what part of the plane glows when formation lights are enabled. I'm hoping to do this for other planes as well.
  6. I've gotten used to hitting the comms button twice. This last OB for me now had the atc menu break. It lists one item. It can't be clicked on or keypressed, meaning once you get to the atc menu, you can't do anything else. You can only open or close that page.
  7. None of the training missions have working labels for the f14. I don't know if that's DCS in general or not. Opening the training missions in ME don't show labels being locked out so I don't know where it's coming from. What I haven't tried is moving the Miz file to a different location or playing it from the editor.
  8. Sooooo, tried it again tonight with no VR and just used trackir. It worked perfectly. No crashes and I could read the cockpit labeling.
  9. Ya, it feels way too forward. I found it easier to sit forward, reset my view, and then sit normally.
  10. I’ve had the same issue. Either it crashes before it fully loads, crashes when I hit fly, or crashes at the longest I’ve managed to get it to work, 30 seconds. Just to test, I had no issues with the f18 in free flight in the Persian gulf and flew around for a few minutes with no issue. As an aside, I can’t read any of the labels in the cockpit of the f14. Its like someone went in and smudged up the whole pit. Hopefully the stack of big reports I sent in will help. Here’s hoping for a stability patch in the next couple days.
