  1. II first read the news over on Hoggit and was totally confused. I’m glad there was some clarification here.
  2. Think I have it figured out. Thank you for all your help. I placed OpenXR Toolkit into safe mode, opened it up, and then selected the “restore default” setting. That bumped it up from 35fps to 72fps. I the. went from 72hz to 120hzn in the Pimax settings. This bumped it up to over 100fps on the carrier.
  3. These are my settings. Important to note, I’m getting 35FPS in DCS and it’s choppy in MSFS. So I don’t think it’s an in game setting. I’m running an i9 14900, 4090 GPU and64GB or ram. So I don’t think it’s hardware related. Before getting my crystal, I ran a Samsung WMR headset with open xr.
  4. I came here to say I’m having the same issue. Just upgraded from a Samsung WMR to the Crystal. I was getting 90 FPS on the DCS menu screen with my Samsung. I get 35 FPS and flickering on the DCS menu screen with my Pimax. It has to be a setting… I just haven’t found it yet. System: I9 14900, 4090, 64GB.

  6. Just got point control last week. I’m having trouble with the HMS tracking on my monitor. It’s plugged in and windows recognizes it as a mouse. I can click on the buttons and it can close folders. (So I’m guessing it’s connected). However, i can’t get the arrow to move. I haven’t messed with the FCUs yet as this was the first step in the video. Anyone have any suggestions? Windows 11, Alienware AW3420 monitor, Rtx3080ti card.
  7. Mine started crashing this morning. Typically its crashing when I’m trying to run an instant action mission. Im using Voice Attack and Sim Shaker add ons. I’m not worried about it. A new release is going to be buggy.
  8. I just installed the new slew controller on my warthog. Fairly straightforward and took about 45 minutes to complete. Like others have stated, great purchase. Question: how is everyone mapping it out inside the DCS program? I primarily fly the F18 but own a bunch of planes. I believe my slew controls are currently mapped to button to the right of the new slew controller. (If that makes sense).

  11. I’m having the same issue but it only occurs on the loading screen. For example, I click on missions, f-18, case 1 landing... when the f-18 splash screen comes up I am getting bad flickering and double images. Once the mission loads everything works fine. I am having the same issue with other planes and on multiplayer servers as well. I recently updated DCS OB, Steam VR Beta (1.8.6)and my Nvidia driver (436.30) and don’t know which one caused this issue. I have an RTX 2080, Samsung Odyssey Plus headset and 32gb Ram. Since this is only effecting my loading screen and not ingame experience, it’s not a major issue for me. But I wanted to report it because I’m sure others are having an issue with it.
  12. I give credit to Nick and Nineline who both reached out to the Hoggit community. It’s a passionate group and opening up communication is a good thing. They won’t win everyone over but it’s a step in the right direction.
  13. I fall in the same boat. My rotating work schedule doesn’t allow me to join an organized clan. Wish I could find a MP server where I could team up with other adults to practice, learn things, and fly missions.
  14. I posted this in the Vaicom forum and they suggested I post here. When I’m in the F-18 I can hear radio traffic from 133.333 (shell). I can transmit on Comm 1 (253.000) and other users can here me. The problem is when they transmit back Im not hearing anything, just silence. Any ideas?
  15. I’ve having some issue with Vaicom and SRS. I’ve mapped out TX6 on my Hotas and my commands (such as chatter) are working without issue. When in the F-18 I can hear radio traffic from 133.333 (shell). So far so good... Now for the issue. I can communicate on comm 1 to other people using 253.000. However, I can’t hear them responding to me at all. I talk to them over the text box and they are advising they can hear me “5/5”. So I know I can transmit, I just can’t receive. Any ideas?
