  1. DCS Update 2.9.4.53549 MT Hi, After the latest update the true heading on the List DED INS page always displays 0.0. Is this working as intended? Steps to reproduce. Start F-16C Instant action mission Caucasus Free flight . Now press List and 6 on the ICP for the INS page. Prior to this update the True heading was continuously displayed, now its always displays 0.0 as the true heading ( as shown in the 2 screen shots).
  2. When a Phalanx is installed on a ship, a series of hard stops are used to limit the firing arcs to prevent rounds hitting the ship’s decks or superstructure. However CIWS have fired at friendly ships in real life! During the first Gulf war in 1991, the Phalanx onboard USS Jarret in automatic mode fired at a chaff cloud launched by USS Missouri in response to an attack by an Iraqi Silkworm missile. Several rounds hit USS Missouri
  3. DCS 2.9.2.49940 Open Beta MT Hi During testing I've discovered that some anti ship missiles in DCS will fly over any mountain to reach their target even though they don't have any sort of terrain following radar. In the test mission I have various anti ships units and a target ship protected by terrain. Also an AWACS is provided for target info. Apart from the RGM-84D Harpoon which correctly had a controlled flight into terrain, all the other anti ship missiles hit their target I've included the miz file as well as a track. You can just run the mission as the bug can be replicated 100% of the time. Anti ship missile bug.trk ASM Bug.miz
  4. Hi, Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service. I would suggest posting your suggestions in the Supercarrier wish list section of the forum https://forum.dcs.world/forum/252-wish-list/
  5. I highly recommend moving to the open beta version on Steam, as this bug has already been fixed in open beta. In addition if you're interested in MP more servers use open beta and you'll also get access to any new features faster too!
  6. If I had to guess,I suspect you're using the stable version which has this bug.
  7. In your bug report you didn't say if you're using the Stable or Open beta version of DCS? There is currently a known bug with the F-15 radar in the stable version. If you're using the stable version you'll need to wait for a fix, or install the open beat version, as that is updated more frequently.
  8. Hi The F-15E radar is working fine in open beta. As you haven't posted a track its difficult to see what you are doing incorrectly. I recommend reading the Chapter 9 air to air radar section from the manual again, in case you've missed any steps. Or watch this You-tube video
  9. In this 3rd example the SA-2 tracks my planes 180' turn through the terrain SA-2 bug 3.trk
  10. There is something seriously wrong with the SA-2 tracking ability. In this test I used the F/A-18C Hornet. When the SA-2 launched I dived to mask the tracking radar, and then once masked I made a hard left turn. The SA-2 continued to track my new heading even though I'm now masked by the terrain. As I now had no spike from the SA-2 site, I climbed back above the terrain and then received another the missile warning followed by the missile hitting me SA-2 bug 2.trk
  11. I'm not sure if its just a coincidence, but static objects which are also in the ground unit category have their events recorded correctly. While static units that are not eg: Farm A, Repair workshop and Tech combine don't have their events recorded correctly. To test this i setup the following static object targets: Farm A, Repair workshop and Tech combine And the following static objects that also in the ground unit fortification category: Barracks armed Beacon TACAN Portable TSS 3030 Building armed Bunker 1 Bunker 2 Outpost Road outpost Watch tower armed All the targets were killed by an ai B1-B. The event log failed to shows kills against the Farm A, Repair workshop and Tech combine Static unit event bug 2.trk
  12. DCS 2.9.2.49940 Open Beta MT Hi There is a currently a bug in DCS where events with various static objects are not being recorded, this used to work correctly but is now broken. This affects both SP and MP missions I created a simple mission to demonstrate the problem. The mission has the following static objects as targets Ammunition depot Command Center Container 20ft FARP Ammo Storage FARP Fuel Depot FARP Tent Outpost Tank 1 Watch tower armed Water tower A The static targets are attacked and killed by ai F-16C carrying GBU-24 LGB (The bug affects player planes too, but I used the ai for a smaller track file.) The event log only shows hits and kills against the Outpost and Watch tower armed All of the hits and kills against remaining static targets wasn't recorded in the debriefing log Static object event bug.trk
  13. DCS 2.9.2.49940 Open Beta MT Hi The SA-2 SAM hits without giving a RWR tracking warning after being masked by terrain The target aircraft loses the radar spike while masking the Tracking radar If you then climb above the terrain the missile will continue to track until impact, though this time without any RWR missile tracking indication I created a simple mission to demonstrate the problem. In screenshot 1, I have a spike from the SA-2 indicating a missile launch In screenshot 2, I mask the Sam site with terrain and lose all nails from the SA-2 sam site In screenshot 3, I rise above the terrain and the missile is continuing to track without anything showing on my RWR In screenshot 4, I get nails from the SA-2 search radar just before impact, still no missile tracking warning SA-2 bug.trk
  14. It is working fine for me, you should post a track file to help diagnose your problem
  15. DCS 2.9.2.49629 Open Beta MT Hi After the latest patch enemy aircraft now give IFF mode 4 positive reply. I created a simple mission to demonstrate the problem. From an air-start a Mig-21 is ahead of my F-15E, I lock it in STT and then IFF the contact. The Mig-21 gives a positive reply to the Mode 4 IFF IFF Mode 4.trk
