  1. I dropped my resolution from 1440 to 1080 and still getting about 27 FPS.... Where doing the same on the Channel Map with the P-47 went from 33 FPS to 55 FPS doing the same thing.
  2. I reinstalled it to try to further troubleshoot. Third reinstall result in building objects not even loading. Quit DCS which then resulted in a blue screen crash and reboot of my machine. I am attaching the log to get any clues what is going on with my installation. dcs.txt
  3. Same here. Stuck at 0 degrees. Along with the other issues I have been having.....
  4. I am getting graphical errors with the channel map installed. I am getting graphical artifacts which causes the display to glitch completely out requiring a restart of the computer. Uninstalling the terrain returns everything back to normal. Reinstalled it figuring maybe the installation was corrupted, I now see building structures doing barrel rolls which then the graphical artifacts return. Attached are two screenshots of the behavior. I have since uninstalled the channel map terrain as it is unplayable for me and the issues spill over to the other terrains with it installed.
  5. Figured it out.... First add on for me that didn't have the axis assigned to the throttle by default. Now I feel like an idiot for not checking that first before posting here. :)
  6. My x52's throttle isn't being recognized and isn't moving the throttle in the P-47. The keyboard bindings and clicking and moving it with the mouse works just fine. Switching to the Tomcat and Hornet and it works fine. I have tried resetting the axis assignments back to default, still nada.
  7. I lost 10 FPS with the latest update using the Tomcat, shadows flat.
  8. I use the raise the launch bar signal as my extend the wings signal. It works for now. :)
  9. So sales can't be better than the pre-purchase discount? You run that risk on every product. You may get a 10% discount on your new car. Maybe in a few months, you could have gotten 25% off on the same car. You buy in the now or if you don't need it now and want to see if you can get it cheaper later, wait. You're right it is first world problems, but again you made the decision to buy it when you did. They are not under any obligation to make sure the price you paid is the lowest one they can offer.
  10. You have a choice. Knowing ED and dates can slip, can still choose to buy into it or if you can't stand that dates can slip, then don't purchase into it. No one forces you to continue to give ED your money if date slips make you this upset.
  11. It would be a bigger penalty to release buggy software that wasn't ready because of deadlines or announced dates because your customers will only tolerate that kind of approach for so long....
  12. Not your fault for the slips, but if ED has a history and you knew of that history, it should help to set your expectations. If you are a software dev then you should understand the process and things can slip. Or look at what happens when you release a product not ready yet since the company has a set timeframe ( iOS 13... Catalina, Vista, etc). Unless you're saying your products are perfect upon release.....
  13. Since ED is apparently famous for slips, you knew that this release could slip as well so you bought it knowing it could slip. Still don't have any sympathy here..... If you couldn't handle a slip, then don't pre-purchase it. Stuff happens..... Or are you the type to yell at a flight crew and/or the airlines customer service for a flight delay due to a thunderstorm over the airport or destination because you're the type to value you getting there at the scheduled time over your safety and life?
  14. First of all they didn't promise you anything. They opened up pre-purchase window with a goal of end of Q1 of 2020. No promise made. Plus if you can't handle a few weeks slip in release date, then there is more issues going on then simply not getting your new toy when YOU want it.... Maybe you know if what is going on with the world right now.... They couldn't achieve their goals. Just look at HeatBlur's situation right now with Cobra having to go deal with a personal issue. So I do not feel any sympathy for anyone who thinks the SC release is the most important thing right now because they paid money and think they own the ED team due to that so they can demand answers or throw a tantrum if they don't. First world problems going on here.....
  15. Exactly and if you pre-order it, you get a discount for EA access all the way to the release date. Sure you can wait for a sale, but that would be longer down the road so you do get a perk buying into an EA from the start.
  16. Release gets delayed... " OMG I paid money for this and I demand answers!!!!!" Product gets released with major bugs, " OMG the product is a POS, why did I pay money for this and why does ED think they can use me as a product beta tester! They should have released it when it was ready!" Can't win with some people. If it isn't ready, it isn't ready. If they are not releasing it due to the extending sale, that is one thing and I could understand some people being upset over that. But I would rather have it be in a usable state than dealing with major issues. So if it is delayed due to it not being in a usable state, then be all means delay it. My money went towards the development of it, not buying in to a beta test* *That statement is a bit of a misleading statement as I realize I am on the open beta version and early access can have bugs so I sort of am, but it is in such a state where it is usable and the bugs are usually not experience killers for me.
