A lot of people cannot differentiate between a customer and a stakeholder, and the differecne is massive

I will stick my neck out on the line here, there's no other sime out there that comes close to offering what DCS does in terms of realism, and flight dynamics, and the ability to go head to head in some pretty decent terrains, not one.. If you're friends are not that interested in the Hornet, and it's not a simple plug and play type of aircraft, you actually have to put the workload in to get the full potential, then they're not missing what DCS has to offer, they're better off looking at the other genres and era's sims, so they're indecision and stance as Mizzy has said has zero effect on ED or the current situation as a whole, there's new players joining all the time, there hasn't been a dramtic decrease in the player base, and as it stands, the ONLY aircraft that's at a standstill in terms of development, is the F15E, and even at that it's still in an excellent condition to fly.... there's still a whole lot of fun to be had, there's really no need to cut off ones nose to spite their face, which is what I see a lot of here. Have a great weekend all

That's not an opinion, it's a whine of serious self entitlement, Oh I bought a pair of trainers 4 years ago, wore them every day, they no longer make that model, I think I will ask the store for a refund....should I feel entitled to a refund? If you fail to see how absurd your comments are then crack on.

The self entitlement here is strong.

Razbam already had a forage into the Microsoft FS series, they bailed on those too They did have some very good aircraft, their GR7/GR9's and A6/A7's were good, they could have easily brought those into DCS world, they already had the models, they chose not to for some reason. This is the issue with RB, their track record hasn't been the best. They should be focusing on their current customers and doing everything they can to resolve this situation, their JV's with other company's is their business, I'm not holding my breath for another simulation on par with DCS to magically appear within the next 5 years at least.

Micropose and Microsoft are 2 different entities. I don't recall Micropose ever making anything for MSFS, they did Falcon4. To me it looks like neither ED or RB are willing to budge an inch, and we're relying on at least one part telling the truth in this mess.

There's nothing wrong with all those other modules, it's like buying a suit, wearing it for 3 years and then asking for a refund because the style isn't trendy anymore. Or like buying a car, driving it around for years, getting your moneys worth, then because production stopped, you think you should get your money back !!

Too many spat their dummies out and stomped their feet. There's still too many claims about lack of communication between ED and RB, with the usual RB DEV constantly releasing snippets and it's definately not helping, dure all he wants is to be paid, fully understandable, however, that's an internal RB/3rd party situation that both those parties need to fix. I was pretty optimistic that common sense would prevail, and it hasn't, so it appears there's way much more going on that us mere mortals are privy to, and it's not as cordial as what both parties initially stated. The damage to the confidence of the consumer by the actions/inactions of both parties, that is ED/RB is irretrievable in my view. The cynic in me can see only one emerging from this fiasco, the other will fade off into arcadish type genre's. I love my F15E, as well as the Harrier, and I will continue to fly them to the point where there's catastophic failures due to updates. The year started off well for the F15E, with lots of good things to look forwards to, now it's a case of despair and frustration for many.. Shame on both of you, Eagle Dynamics and Razbam.

Yep, it was still doing that between 82-84 when I was based at Salamanca Barracks, Epi

So..........all is NOT lost... I had another online storage that I had forgotten about and all my source files were backed up there, so work shall resume on the Type 42 shortly, I'm a bit busy with real life work

Another 3 months of not bothering to read the first page

400+ Hours in the F15E in its current state @ $60 = $0.15 cents an hour for me is great value for money. More hyperbole from you, who's stolen or scammed you? Had you read through all the previous locked/merged topics you'd know there's a legal reason why the module is still on the store. Why should I be phased it's still there, it's STILL great value for money if you put the hours in, there's tonnes to learn, it's great to fly, and many others will agree, feel free to throw your teddies and spit your dummy out though, but the fact remains, it still does exactly as advertised, and please show me where any promise is made on the advertisement about leaving early access, considering RB products were several years in early access in the past, I believe the Harrier was close to 5 years in EA before they decided it was complete.

Ask the people who booked holidays in 2019 when Thomas Cook collapsed, and left tens of thousands stranded abroad, losing everything. Ask the people that Monarch Airlines in 2017 left stranded over 100,000 of them, again losing everything. The revenue generated by those two far outmatched Razbam gross earnings per annum, so thank yourself lucky that you've not lost a single thing as it stands right now, the only thing that's been impacted to a higher degree is the F15E updates, it's akin to a flight cancellation to a volatile destination, people need to start putting things into perspective and stop gulping down massive bowls of hyperbole and drama.

This isn't long by any stretch of the imagination, maybe for impatient consumers it is, but for those who have been involved in such tribunals and cases, 5 months is nothing really.

Where's the mischaracterisation ? At least two Razbam Dev's who have been involved in leaking snippets of conversations have been instrumental in why the current situation has gone from bad to worse. Whilst legal proceddings are ongoing, I'd say they're not helping the situation, they're making things worse. You mention Razbams claims having substance, but no mention whether ED's counter claims have any substance, once again, are you in possesion of all the signed contracts between both parties. The responsibility of paying Razbams 3rd party contractors lies solely within Razbam, and has nothing to do with Eagle Dynamics, their contracts are with Razbam, what's so difficult to understand? Not one of those Dev's has shown their own personal interactions with Razbam Finance department, or through their legal representatives , not a shred of proof of their own legal recourse against their contractor, ie Razbam has been presented. Blind loyalty perhaps? There's only 2 publically known facts here. 1. Razbam had payment from Eagle Dynamics withheld for alleged breach(es) of contract 2. Eagle Dynamics as above claim breach of contract, to include alleged Intelectual Property (IP) infringments People have a lot of reasons for doubting BOTH sides, by people, you mean the consumer right? I'm also willing to bet that a lot of those doubters don't own the Strike Eagle, the module mostly affected by this fiasco, they're agent provocateurs... and I only see one party of this fiasco making a lot of noise and leaking stuff, whilst the other party made a single statement and has not veered from that. So there's no mischaraterisation whatsoever

Rinse repeat

Here we go again... How do you know what ED expected? Were you in the board meeting when ED looked over the fine print and have gone down the road they have, they have their reasons, as Razbam have theirs. Are you privy to the terms and conditions of the binding contracts between ED and RB? Are you privy to the Terms and Conditions between RB and their 3rd party Devs? Do you know if they were under an NDA whilst contracted to RB? If not, then you know nothing, I doubt even the ED legal team have copies of the 3rd party devs T's and C's One has opted to keep everything legal and stuck by their original statement , the other has opted to leak everything on various social media platforms. Both have caused enough drama to make their professional relation non tenable, unfortunately RB has a chequered history, and they stand to lose more than anyone.

ED were under no obligations to offer any type of refund to begin with for the F15E, and as much as you dislike it, store credit is a type of refund.
-
You’ve already been given that information! you’re just choosing to ignore it because it’s not to your liking
-
You’ve had the statements from ED, your not going to get what you want and stamping your feet in a tantrum isn’t going to work either, your acting like a spoilt child. You’re a consumer, and one with a single RB product at that, not a shareholder, your not entitled to know all the legal issues that’s going on. The sense of entitlement is strong with you.
-
You make accusations about twisting words when your clearly doing the same ! he was clearly talking about the other RB modules being out of EA, and not the F15E
-
ROFLMFAO Oh if I was hostile, you'd know To be honest, I don't get why folks get so hostile over soemthing they have no control over, none of them are stakeholders, nor shareholders in either company, not one person in this forum sit on the board of directors of this shyt show, and nobody escapes criticism either. Both parties have hurth their causes and their customer base
-
LOL, you're backpeddling faster than an Italian tank during WWII You're far from being neutral or impartial Vortex, you were swinging that baseball bat against ED like a Dervish only a couple of pages back.
-
Oh don't spoil their hyperbole mate

What exactly is there to contribute that hasn't been beaten to death in the 3 others threads since this entire debacle unfolded? And your contribution has been what exactly? Finger pointing and blame gaming, you guys are predictable as the sun rising in the East, unless you're in possesion of all the facts, and technical contracts, then you're offering nothing new, that hasn't been discussed ad nauseum. Like I said, I had you sized up right from the get go.
