Small Update: Disabling "Advanced Supersample Filtering" in the SteamVR settings has massively increased performance. On the crashing side, however, I can neither confirm nor deny the presence of it. Hope this solves it!

A User on this thread posted some settings. I have also updated my bios. I will give these a try and test the results!

Some of these are Windows MR specific, but hope they can help!

Hello Everybody! I have been experiencing consistent crashes and poor performance within VR. I have an O+ and my PC specs and logs are below. I have tried reinstalling, repairing, custom page file, DDU on drivers, uninstalling Geforce Experience (read somewhere that this works). +1 On this. The original post seems all about TrackIR, nothing regarding VR.

Fixed my own problem! Make sure to delete the fxo and metashaders2 folders, not just delete the contents inside them. same applies to the \DCS World\Mods\terrains\Caucasus\misc\metacache\dcs folder. Cheers! Goose :smilewink:

+1 Tried this to no avail. Even tried a full reinstall of the sim (both Open Beta and Stable) with no success. I love the FPS benefit, a whole lot, but can't stand the black trees. DCS 2.5.4.29167
