I don't think the parked planes are the reason for the fps loss at Nellis. But you could check that yourself: load the mission in the editor, remove the parked planes and start the mission from the editor,

Ich hab so einen PC bis 03/22 verwendet und in 1440p bei maximalen Grafikeinstellungen stabile 60 fps (mehr kann mein Monitor nicht) gehabt. Eine SSD ist für DCS dringend anzuraten.

Ich warte mal ab, wie sich die Karte (und ihr Einsatz im Multiplayer oder Einzelspielermissionen und -kampagnen) in den nächsten 12 Monate so entwickelt.

The toggles won't work, as they are auto returning to the center position. I don't see any possibility to bind a 3 position switch with the switches on the throttle. Alternatively: You could use a modifier in DCS to map multiple functions to a switch/button. Use a hat on the right throttle grip for the autopilot controls. Use the three position switch on the left throttle for modes, the pinky switch for autopilot on/off.

It's a bug. No solution as far as I know.

What do you need the hdd for? Those are sooooo slow. You should not use a hdd for either Windows, DCS or X-Plane.

Am meisten Missionen und Kampagnen gibt's es für die P-51 und die Normandie Karte. WW2 Asset Pack brauchst du auch. ED hat einige interessante Aktionen mit der Kanal Karte - nur für die gibt's recht wenig Missionen und Kampagnen.

If you haven't tried it yet, rename the DCS saved game folder (C:\users\YOURUSERNAME\saved games\DCS or DCS.openbeta), so DCS rebuilds all the config files and try again.

There is a thread on the forums describing your problem: For the majority it seems that an overclocked gpu was the culprit. I would start with removing all mods and reshade, rename the DCS save game folder, run a repair and underclock the gpu. Good luck!

I had Crosswinds (without combat pedals) and TPRs and preferred the TPRs due to their unique mounting mechanism. Build quality was equally fine.

Have you selected the "Axis Commands" category from the pull down menu ? The keyboard column should be empty there - so I guess you didn't... but you have to, if you want to assign axes.

I replaced the pinky on my Warthog throttle. You'll need a good soldering iron with a small tip, a "helping hand stand", I needed a magnifier glass. The whole procedure needed like 10 minutes. Take a look at a forum post here:

Too late for me then, I guess - After a decade of flying the Warthog, I retired from the A-10C this year.

I'm not a fan of removing loadouts from a module. If someone doesn't want to fly a Frankenharrier, it's very easy to not use the IR Mavs in the loadout. On the other hand gone is gone.

Looking forward to this campaign too and how you manage the ground AI quirks that are so obvious when flying in a helo.

Ich finde, ein vernünftiger Missionsbauer überlässt diese Entscheidung dem Piloten - das erspart einem die Mission zuerst in den Editor zu laden und dort die ganzen Restriktionen wieder zu entfernen.
