  1. It's hard to tell due to the angle of the picture but I have a 3-way (on-off-on) toggle switch on top for swapping between the three Hornet DDIs. When switched to either of the ON positions, one of two modifier keys is applied using Joy2Key. This works really well but I just need to remember to switch it back to the OFF position when I'm done or it will impact my HOTAS keybindings since they don't use modifiers.
  2. Lol, I had the same feeling after throwing away an old mechanical keyboard a few months back so I had to settle for the keys off a clunky old Dell keyboard instead. I use Fusion360 for CAD (still a noob with it) and Cura for slicer.
  3. I was going to order a Cougar MFD but decided to just make my own using a BBI-64. Since I play in VR, I didn't need a screen on it so I decided to use this space to house the UFC. A toggle switch on top of it will apply modifiers so I can swap between left/right/center MFDs. I still have about a few more things to print but here's the progress so far. Using numpad keys from old keyboard for the UFC keypad
  4. lol, thanks :) Once all my hardware arrives next week, I'll be able to get started. Once I have the design locked down, I'll share the CAD and STLs.
  5. I got tired of fumbling with the motion controls to interact with cockpit so I started working on an MFD/UFC combo. It will also have a 3 way toggle switch to apply modifiers so I can switch between left/right/center MFDs. It's powered by a BBI-64. Just waiting on the hardware to arrive so I can start building. The BBI is going to be detachable via back panel so I can swap it between any future button boxes I decide to make.
