  1. I have exactly the same feeling.
  2. As in the title of the topic, F18, in certain conditions, can't pull up enough after 22th February 2024 update. In the attached short video, the plane crashes even if i was pulling as hard as possible with paddle, but AoA remains low. In the attachment there are also the track and tacview, the crash happens at about 7 minutes and 48 seconds Is it normal or F18 should be able to not crash? Thank you The_Air_Combat_Dojo_v1.625_RW_Close_Guns_Server_NT-20240415-012819.trk F18 crash.mkv Tacview-20240415-012826-DCS-Client-The_Air_Combat_Dojo_v1.625_RW_Close_Guns_Server_NT.zip.acmi
  3. For sure it's the most realistic option, for me was important to understand what was happening
  4. Yep, me too feeling wake turbulence several times only recently, about since last week and that explains why the problem didn't occurred since last patch was release in february, but only since last week
  5. Thank you, i was going crazy You have saved my life!!!!
  6. Please see the attached tacview file in the reply to Bignewy at about 35 minutes Never experienced a single turbolence in the last years since last week on that server. In the briefing turbolence is 0,3 m/s
  7. I apologize for the big track, when i'll have time i'll investigate more deeply. In the meanwhile please go to this google drive link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R3vadHtYfBPkEO53lhRfiYro3UaV7B6e/view?usp=sharing The dogfight where the problem occur is the first one vs another F18 at about 35 minutes of the track. You can also find tacview report attached. Many thanks!! Tacview-20240401-234948-DCS-Client-mobettametas_Dogfight_Arena_-_Caucuses_-_v2.07.1.zip.acmi Please, see my reply to Bignewy, thanks
  8. The server is Mobettameta Dogfighters Server 1, later i'll upload the track, but it's a big track. Anyway i can tell you exacly when the problem occurs. It happens several times, in my video you can see the problem at the max of his evidence.
  9. I've never seen this kind of effect and the server is set to not have turbolence .
  10. It's an online server with turbolence at 0,3 m/s and winds at 0 m/s, i don't think this is the problem The bandit was on the other side of the circle, far from me
  11. During dogfights i'm experiencing a problem that occur randomly while turning at about 380 kias 7,5 Gs: the plane suddenly rolls without any input as you can see at about 28s of the video in slow motion. Does it happens only to me? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V14CwM11YPY
  12. Thanks for the answer, i'll give it again a try.
  13. How MFDs look like? For example with F14 are really horrible because the mdf image fluctuates.
  14. Thank you for the info, I'm really disappointed with nVidia and DLSS.
  15. Yep, DLSS is totally horrible with MFDs. Maybe DLSS 3 would be better.
  16. To remain at least at 60 fps, you need a cpu frame time of not more than 16,66 ms. A 10 year old cpu could probably be the problem.
  17. When you have 30 players +3/4 AI planes flying at the same time and cpu frame time is still 3ms , cpu matters a lot, i've seen it after updating my system. Just one question, which is your cpu frame time? You are welcome, just one question which is your cpu frame time? Thank you
  18. Here 7800x3d and 4090 with reverb g2: 90 fps on multiplayer dogfight server, cpu frame time about 3ms both with or without dlss. That chart tells the truth
  19. I still see shimmering on taxi way markings etc with DLAA or DLSS. TAA looks far better to me in VR. I totally agree
  20. DLSS or even only DLAA works really bad with the MFD of the Tomcat: moving the head gives big distortion of what is on the multi function display of the Tomcat. With DLSS quality i have much worse quality image and the same GPU frame time as TAA enabled and no DLSS. My gpu is a 4090.
  21. ... Again please be polite, thank you! I think Enzo is lieing or telling the truth, misremembering i think it's not probable. He was an active pilot when he was speaking in the podcast and i think it's impossibile misremembering something he claimed he has done at least several times. You don't know him too. This might be a good explanation
  22. Maybe, but keep in mind Lieutenant Colonel Lorenz “Enzo” Schaffelhofer was over Baltics sea in a very cold day: this means mach 1 is at lower TAS, engines give more thrust thanks to the fact air is more dense at low temperature. Look at the difference between +20° C and -20°C on the graph below. That said, i understand 5 seconds are still unrealistic but i'm going on to ask to my self why to say such a lie. F16 at -20°C and low fuel need about 15 seconds to go from 200 knots to mach 1 at -20°C, Eurofighter maybe can do it in 13 seconds, still far from 5 seconds but impressive: Be polite please, i didn't offend you nor anybody.
