Since today I am not able access DCS modules anymore as I used to.
Steam throws an 403 error. Unbinding Steam Account from the DCS account helps, but why this happened recently and was working for years? I do not find any official announcement.
Will I be able to bind it again to transfer licenses if I might change to the standalone? And what should I do if I fly standalone Stable and with Steam the Beta?
Cheers.

Hello,
thank you for reaching out to DCS World support.
Please note that if your Steam account is bound to your DCS account, you will not be able to log into the Steam version of the game and will encounter a 403 error.
This change has been implemented to enhance security and streamline access to DCS World.
If your Steam account is currently bound to your DCS account, to access the Steam version of DCS World, you must unbind it.
You can perform the unbinding in the same way you performed the initial binding in the user profile.
More information on this process is available at the following link:
https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/User_profile/#3319484
Alternatively, you can use Standalone version of the DCS World.
The Standalone version does not require you to unbind your Steam account.

So I can bind and unbind as often as I want, for example if I buy something new and want to transfer it to the standalone version?
Would have been nice if there would have been an official announcement. Stopped working without notice.
The documentation is a little bit confusing. At the end it says: "Please note that the transferred products will now be available in your Standalone install and also remain available in your Steam Version." But i guess that is only the case if I unbind again after transfering?
Thanks
Mathias
