  1. Anyone? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks for the message Mr_sukebe appreciate the info. Maybe DM me your squad details and I’ll pop over and say hello. Best, Matt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi all, I’m looking for a UK based RAF/RN squadron to hopefully joint and fly with. Looking for a good crack and some mil-sim flying partners. Plenty of years and flight hours with DCS, use discord, team speak, tacview, flight logs, mission editor, proper computer and controls set up. Fly the Harrier mainly in GR7/9 colours mainly ;-) I have seen a few advertised around but wanted some info from you guys. Who’s hot? Who’s not? Matt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Dear Razbam, Absolute huge fan of your work and the Harrier module and also with a background in IT I more than completely understand beta testing and stages. However.... Dat asymmetrical loadout trim issue though!! You gotta sort that out. It's nowhere near the real thing. How do I know?? My father was a WSO in the RAF on multiple fast jets and says asymmetrical loadouts or rifling one weapon and having the aircraft constantly needing HUGE amounts of opposite trim and the insane flight performance issues when turning just isn't IRL. Also there is a very intelligent Reddit AMA with a Marine Harrier pilot in which DCS users also asked the same thing and he said there shouldn't be any major issue. This is something I'm confident knowing your thorough attention to detail and work level can be fixed very quickly especially as the model has been out for a considerable amount of time..... C'mon. Make it at least realistic to fly. Just some honest feedback - still love and appreciate your work and will continue to support. Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk
  5. +1 same for decoy knob. Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk
  6. Hi all, So I'm flying s simple Mk83 iron bomb mission with the Litening pod. Bombing using CCIP but using the pod to highlight the targets on screen and lock on so I can circle and find the best angle and path of attack. Standard. After dropping one bomb or even wishing to deselect the current target and change to another (tank to truck for example) in the same area I use as per the manual the AG undesignate button. Issue: sometimes it does undesignate and other times it won't after multiple presses. Also whe you do press the undesignate button it automatically turns on the DMT and slaves the camera? Is this correct? I want to be able to drop a bomb then redesignate a new TPod target without activating the DMT and having to go back into the whole RMFD-TPOD-STBY-TDC. Any help would be awesome thanks. Matt Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk
  7. Hi mate, Thanks for your reply. I’ve installed the drivers etc on my Win10 system and only fly DCS so more than happy to set curves in DCS only. Was just asking if everyone else sets curves etc or if each module has curves preset for the Pro Flight models etc? Also I’ve read in a few threads the cougar doesn’t have any curves setup out the box and that could be my issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hi All, Didn’t realise there was an actual TM section here which is awesome and I’ve already come across so much great info. My question is I find formation flying with the Cougar throttle really hard. I find the throttle isn’t very responsive or accurate. I appreciate its aircraft specific and load out specific etc but in general, on most modules, it’s hard to just ‘notch up and down’ a few kts to keep in line with your buddies. I’ve got a lot of experience in DCS and formation flying with my crew but not a ton of experience with the Cougar. Someone on another thread mentioned the Cougar doesn’t have curves/sat setup and I need to do that? Anyways thanks all, and appreciate any tips etc. Matt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hey buddy appreciate the response and I think I understand what your saying but just clarify for me if ya wouldn’t mind? Are you saying I need to add a curve in? Thanks! Matt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Should I see Cougar in the axis settings? Under throttle up and down there is nothing under the throttle sections. Only keyboard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Rudel many thanks for this info and I’ll try it out later. I have recalibrated the Cougar stick and throttle in windows and now the Fulcrum seems to be worse. At any altitude it starts accelerating about 5mm from the throttle being all the way back and accelerating quite fast. Anyone else find this? Can you also AXIS tune for individual aircraft? As my other aircraft are fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Hi All, As per the title I’ve got the Cougar throttle and stick. I’m struggling with the Mig-29 and SU-33 on the throttle abs making very small adjustments in speed for formation flying. Sometimes a tiny movement adds loads of speed other times you need an inch of travel to move a few knots. Now I’m completely and utterly aware this is also air raft dependent, load out dependent for drag and altitude as well. I mean ‘general’ regardless of those variables I find the cougar not very responsive for formation flying. Now as a baseline I used another generic throttle without missing anything and it’s smoother and MUCH easier to formation fly. Are there any settings in DCS/Windows 10 for the Cougar to be tweaked?? Thanks all, Matt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks for your replies - some good insight there. Some stuff I’m already doing which is good to know and some stuff I’m missing. Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Hi all, Wondering if someone can share some light on whether or not I’m doing this right. I have read around the forums and that has helped me get to where I am today so thanks all for the info. So my questions. 1 - am I correct in assuming that each aircraft has its own set of controller profiles in Settings for both keyboard and Hotas. If so then you need to custom map for each aircraft? 2 - I have for each aircraft set up my KB bindings and HOTAS bindings is there a way to save both profiles or do you HAVE to right click each Inputs column and save them individually as a custom profile. 3 - following on from 2 do you then have to assign BOTH your Hotas profile and KB profile each time you change planes? Or do it once and save it once like a new Master etc. I wish you could just press a one save all button for kB and Hotas profile in one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hi all, I’m currently building a campaign and in the middle of messing around with AI SU-25t on a bombing run. Very, very simple mission: attack 2x Vulcan and is static aircraft at an airfield. 1x25T starts 15nm away on a straight line into first Vulcan. Fires off one Vikhr. *this works. Then the 25T turns right and then attacks second Vulcan with Vikhrs. *this works also. Final target is the static plane on the runway. All targets are in the same vicinity around the airfield. Not far to travel. The issue I’ve got is after the 25T hits the Vulcan it then circles around a bit and flys orbits for 5 mins before it finally lined up to cluster bomb the static plane. Am I missing something here? Why does the AI not just take one line up and bomb the plane straight away like with the two Vulcans. FYI - attack altitude and speeds are set to 2000ft and 300kts on all points. SU-25T set to CAS. Cheers, Matt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
