  1. I just set it up this morning @dburne thank you. I read in another thread you recommending it. Very easy to setup. I tested both IL-2 and DCS using CapFrame and it confirms what I felt that it is smooth. It reports I’m getting an average of 75 FPS. I’m very happy with that.
  2. I received my Aero yesterday. I got it going easily in IL-2 and Cliffs VR beta but was wondering what was stalling the load in DCS. It was just a black screen and hung there. I played around with the various suffixes suggested for the command line and found removing them altogether got it running. It looks fantastic without any further tweeking, but I’ll of course do some of that going forward.
  3. Just completed Gas Tank on E. It was excellent.
  4. I just want to say thank you for such an immersive and enjoyable campaign @Apache600. I’m progressing through the campaign without having to repeat many and love the variety of the missions so far.
  5. Thank you Barthek for these enhancements. I was able to simply unzip them and replace the original files, after backing those up. Great work. Will try reshade next.
  6. Yes thanks. A few more missions in now. Really enjoying them.
  7. Looks like the comms menu issue is something to do with Viacom Pro.
  8. Thanks @Apache600 for some reason \ isn’t working for me once I take off. I will investigate and sort that then go from there.
  9. @Apache600 I am really enjoying the campaign but am stuck on this mission M4. F10 brings up the map, not an option to declare an emergency. How do I set up F10 to work please? Many thanks
  10. I run standalone and the install repair utility, and turning off motion blur, fixed both my issues. Thank you!
  11. Turning off motion blur and doing a repair fixed my initial issues too. Thank you!
  12. G2 are still available in the UK: https://www.hp.com/gb-en/shop/product.aspx?id=1N0T5AA&opt=ABU&sel=WKS&source=google&channel=cpc&adcampaign=OLS-UK-PHR-Acc-Goo-SEM-DSA&addisttype=g&kw=&adid=534086233106&gclid=CjwKCAiAr4GgBhBFEiwAgwORrQ2IL_v6xk2N5C9MflaqzPxr-ODrKWxLbIwNtVabHejy0-_giLUBuRoC39QQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  13. Hanging out for the release of this map. It is looking so good.
  14. The liveries look great and the request seems very reasonable to me. Having suitable skins for Normandy available by default would make things a lot easier and enhance the user experience.
  15. Thank you @MAESTR0for sharing these latest photos. The seasons look great.
  16. Thanks. Looking forward to multithreading this year, especially for VR and the benefits for multiplayer servers should be significant. Stating the obvious I know but I’m pleased ED are moving in the right direction.
  17. I agree about trees not being on or too close to airfields. My hopes for this map are it will be FPS friendly, the countryside has tonal variation, realistic colouring and that in time the Channel map area is included at high quality levels.
  18. Thank you @MAESTR0for showing us these progress images. The map looks fantastic. Really good of you to be open to the constructive comments along the way. I look forward to the maps release.
  19. While a bit bumpy getting there, DCS with native OpenXR is an improvement for me. As TKu says above, its a Beta release so we can expect issues, however, lessons can be learned from the angst and confusion generated by this big change. Some forewarning and explanation of how to set it up would have been useful.
  20. I’m looking forward to this map. Australian F/A-18s will be at home there as will other aircraft during Pitch Black exercises and other scenrios. I can picture HMAS Melbourne and A-4Es in RAN colours. A beautiful part of the world.
  21. OK! That’s interesting. I’ll experiment. Thank you.
