Sorry, my error. it just seems odd to have a module that doesn't fit any map or maybe the Caucuses map may apply. It's an orphan like the other Soviet a/c (I16). Fiction is ok but an appropriate module e.g., Hawker Typhoon a significant a/c in Normandy would be super and historically correct.

The LA7 is an interesting a/c but I understand it did not participate in the Patriotic War (2). As a matter of fact, if it did what map would be appropriate? Maybe the Kola map. Possibly a future map that contains eastern Germany. What do you think?

What's happening with DCS WW2 ETO?? no 262, hawker typhoon, nor P-38...... who's knows what the future will bring. Let's hope it's not moribund!

There is a solution: based on the modules we have -p51, p47, spitfire-seafire, 190a8 that looks like a Hamp (Zero with square wing tips)-WW2 Marianas is close at hand, sabre and mig 15 and corsair with Essex promised for Korea, Skyraider F9f would be great Phantom is coming and mig 21; we need to have Vietnan-An F105 an F8 will be super-great; A4 is alive Taiwan/China for hypothetical 'WW3' for the modern stuff. Guadalcanal- New Guinea for p38, wildcat, & hellcat-Nick's favorite the future looks hypothetically great!!

We need Korea (have planes will travel, F51, Mig15, F86,) need F9f and Vietnam for sure .... need F8U. F4, F105, Mig 17, F100 we have Mig 21 and A4!! Let these happen!!

Don't ever forget the p38: the need is palpable!!

Gunpods for the 109k are needed only for bomber intercepts not for dogfights

We need the p38 no question!! FOR THE SIMPLE REASON IT WILL BE NEEDED IN THE PACIFIC THEATER ALSO. A twin engine fighter would be great to fly for single engine operation in emergencies, long range use per Lindbergh instructions in the Solomon-New Guinea Theater of Operations, with centralized gun firing, the Yamamoto intercept mission and generally a flight challenge for everyone!! a Hawker Typhoon (RAF 2nd TAF) is another excellent choice working in the Normandy area where it contributed in the fighter bomber role using its 60 lb. rockets to good effect at Mortain and at Falaise - Argentan Gap against Nazi panzers. This was a major factor in the ultimate withdrawal of the Wehrmacht in France.

There's plenty of time for the pacific. there is need for the p38 in the ETO. DCS should alter their focus and complete the USAAF fighter roster to include the Lightning!! The twin would be awesome and as you say the p38 does well in the pacific with its extremely long range for the Yamamoto mission as well as the missions in the New Guinea-Solomons theater of operations. Lets get loud with this one!!

It certainly looks like a winner like the campaigns before. A buy site unseen!!

I believe that the pilot makes the difference ....in a turn fight mw50 cannot be used as much but the 109K4 can run away and reengage at will.

We need the US Navy's F6F, F4F, SBD, and TBF also. Everything will come with patience. How about the P38....the need is palpable!

Rudder pedals will correct adverse rolling with 109 and1 90....... try it and it works!
