  4. I also thought about it, but is right. Its a lil bit akward to only have about 3 words in 1 line. But if i really get goiong with this, i think ill add a little narrative, too. Hey youre right. More information of how to engage a specific vehicle could outweight the lack of info given in the manual about that topic.

Mostly for fun and my own entertainment, i edited parts of the encyclopedia, cause i think the formatting of the original isnt as good as it could be and there could be more information about the vehicles. Heres an example of what i did so far: Sorry, its german, heres what facts are in there already: - Name of the vehicle - Type - Country where it was designed - Developer - First flight - comissioning - number of crew members - max speed - rate of climb - max range - service ceiling - g limit - deadweight - normal weight - max weight - max fuel - overall length - vent (?) length - diameter of main rotor - diameter of tail rotor - wingspan - height - turbines - power - weaponry - countries that use that vehicle most of the time i used the numbers ED provided, for the rest i searched the internet (wiki, etc). I've got some questions now: - is there a way to use tabstops? or could it be implemented by ED? - is there enough interest so its worth to remake the whole encyclopedia and release it as a mod? - if there is enough interest, does anyone have better numbers that the ones i found? - is there somebody out there, who would help me? ;)

  7. oh yeah, plz do something about the ai on airfields. today i flew the mission "on the other side" from the deployment campaign. and everybody who already flew this mission knows: its a frakking long one. the mission itself went fine, lost no wingman, the enemy didnt even fire one shot at us. i landed on the airfield, chose the parking spot at the end of the field, did the shutdown procedure and then (cause its part of my routine) switched to external view and had a last look at my helicopter. just in time to see wingman no. 2 as he tries to take the same parking spot as i did. boom, there ya go. minus two ka-50s.

  9. erm... gear switch, rotorbrake, valve cut off leverls? or is it because the throttle control switches are "multiple instance" thingies?
  10. Reset Targeting Mode (Backspace), select the target via the Data Link, push "DL Ingres" on the Data Link, uncage Skhval (O), voila, the Skhval should be slaved to the selected target. Edit: theres always someone whos faster :)
  11. Hehe, no problem. I could have been far clearer in what i tried to say, too. You tried to help, nothing else matters (I'm really amazed by this forum. Every question is answered and everyone tries to help. No comparison to other communities, like most FirstPersonShooter communities).
  12. That disables the functionality to click buttons in the cockpit.
  13. Looks like it works with BlackShark. I had no problems to install it via ModMan, but i experienced some flickering on one building, where it seems like the engine tries to switch between an old texture and the new one. But happened only from a particular angle and after i changed the POV i couldnt reproduce it. Some screenies (1st one without mod, 2nd and 3rd with mod):
