I have been desperately trying to figure out how to zoom externally to see objects outside of the cockpit. I use VR. I have searched on "zoom" and tried binding each setting that returned in my search. Maybe it isn't a "zoom"?

In VR, what setting controls how distant aircraft appear? Right now, I see them as black blocks until i get right up on them. I thought it was because I had visibility set to Low, but I moved it to Ultra and they look the same. Please advise.

Thank you so much. This was a tremendous help. I slid my resolution in the Oculus app all the way to the right. I did the same with the sharpening. I played around with MSAA and DLAA but I was starting to get a performance hit. So I switched over to DLSS and things are running smoothly without much loss in cockpit clarity. I'll take it.

I have a new rig with a Quest 3. The performance has been smooth as butter. However, visually, the lettering in the cockpit is not on the level as of yet. For example, in the DED (i think that's what it's called) the lettering (UHF 305 VHF 207... etc) is weirdly distorted. Almost like a superscript/subscript combination where the "3" is slightly up, the "0" is down, and the "5" is slightly raised on the same level as the 3. This is throughout the DED. Everything clears up as I lean forward towards the cockpit to view the letters. I've played with all of the anti-aliasing values and I'm out of things to try.

I bought a new rig. How do I go about installing my previously purchased modules on my new system?

When I don't use the tray tool, my Oculus Link session crashes. The game continues to run. I have to go to the task manager to kill it. My understanding is that I don't need to use the Tray Tool if I'm using OpenXR. My performance is terrible when using the tray tool with the recommended settings (as I know them). Has anyone else experienced their thrustmaster rudder pedals working in reverse for the wheel brakes? For me, pressing down on the brakes releases the brakes instead of actually BRAKING. Lol! I have downloaded all of the calibration software, drivers, etc. I don't know how to fix this... Or is it broken? Is it just my ignorance and they're working properly?

When using the Create Fast Mission feature and selecting to attack a ground target, i.e. runway... When the mission is generated, how do you know where the target is? I had a mission generated in the Persian Gulf to attack a runway, it had one steerpoint, and there was no runway there to be attacked. #lost

Is there a way to skip through the F-16 tutorials? I repeat the tutorials but I hate sitting through the long conversations over and over again when I'm clear on the button clicks etc. It's just a matter of continued practice. Most of the tutorials don't advance until they tell you to hit the space bar. You can hit it as many times as you want before they tell you, and it won't advance.

Nevermind. I finally found the right thing to search for in the manual and i see that it's the backslash \ key.

I'm going through the datalink tutorial and I'm stuck on the part where it instructs me to press UHF F1-F1-F3. I'm supposing that is to command my wingman to attack his target but I don't know how to issue those commands. Please advise

Has anyone successfully completed this mission? If so, would you care to offer any tips? It's a pop up attack mission against a heavily defended target and i get shot down every time, either on ingress or egress and I haven't successfully hit the target yet because i'm too busy avoiding SAMs after I pop up.

I apologize if this information is out there but I've been unsuccessful in my search. I'm trying to find a resource that describes the controller actions. Some of them are common sense but others aren't. In particular (among others), I'd like to know the "lock target" action so that i can set it on the stick. Thanks in advance.

I attempted to upload a new F16 T16000m profile and now my flight stick no longer pitches and rolls or does any flight related inputs. Instead, I see in the MFDs that it's controlling radar inputs instead. I've tried restoring to the defaults but nothing seems to be working. I'm desperate for a fix as the sim is currently unplayable.
