  1. Squadron Air to Air Championship The 51st PVO & 100th KIAP are proud to announce SATAC 2022 - which will take place starting in January. Once a year, the 51st PVO stages a Championship called SATAC (Squadron Air to Air Championship). SATAC's focus is to bring a fair and prestigious platform for competitive Air to Air sportsmanship in which all squadrons and airframes are invited. The first SATAC event dates back to 2011, and we would like to keep up this tradition by inviting all competitive Air to Air squads to fly against the best DCS has to offer in the most immersive and realistic combat environment. With the format below, we hope to encourage the use of all aspects of the sim, weapon types (ARH/SARH/IR), dissimilar air combat training (DACT), and all modern DCS aircraft to play their unique roles in SATAC 2022. Format 6 vs 6; thus we highly recommend having reserves. Expect to fly shorthand against a fully rostered opposition if you don't have 6 pilots ready by match time. A mercenary reserve pool is available for teams short on pilots. If you are interested in becoming a merc, put your name forward in the SATAC 2022 channel on the 51st PVO Discord (Links below). All fourth-generation aircraft will be made available: F-14, F-15, F-16, F-18, JF-17, M2000, MIG-29, Su-27, Su-33, J-11. Airframe selection is permanent during matches. Teams must choose a set lineup for each game and stick with those aircraft. E.g. choosing 4xF15, 2xSu27 cannot be changed until the next match. There will be an engagement bubble centered on bullseye, which opposing squads must control to win the round. Once you enter the bubble, you must not exit until the opposing team is neutralised. Once you leave the bubble, you cannot re-enter. You will be warned as you approach the edge of the bubble. As an aircraft enters the bubble, a 5-minute timer will begin where all aircraft must be inside the bubble in that time. Any team with aircraft outside the bubble after the 5 minutes will forfeit the round. At least one pilot from the winning team must return to the home base in order to claim victory for that round. If aircraft take off with an invalid weapon and then fires said weapon or enters the bubble, that round is forfeit for the offending team. RTB's are allowed to correct mistakes with payload or aircraft systems as long as said aircraft hasn't entered the bubble. Disconnected players are allowed to re-join and take off again as long as his/her's aircraft did not enter the bubble. Matches will be best of 3 in the preliminary rounds and best of 5 in knockout rounds. AWACS and datalink support will be available during preliminary rounds only. No datalink or non-player BRAA calls during knockout rounds. A neutral GCI officer will be provided if a squad is unable to field one. Communications with the GCI officer will be handled through SRS. Flankers will have Fighter to Fighter datalink made available. Format for the single-elimination stage. Some items may be repeated from the main format post: Knockouts will have AWACS fed datalink and BRAA reporting disabled with human GCI support given through means of LotAtc. SRS is not required but encouraged to communicate with your GCI. If you wish the streamer to tune into the radio, feel free to post the frequencies alongside your ready state in game chat. Fighter to Fighter datalink, also known as Peer 2 Peer, will be left enabled. Matches will be best of 5 rounds. Due to the increase of rounds played, we recommend having reserves ready for any issues that may arise. Teams flying the F-14 Tomcat will require a human RIO One GCI operator per team * Due to DCS's constant updates and complexities, we can not define every rule. Teams should refrain from doing anything that may be considered unsporting or not to the spirit of competition. Payload Maximum: 4x Active radar homing missiles (all types). No AIM-9X, No Air to Ground weapons (The F-14's and F-18's TALD's are exempt from this). Weather Variable weather: Clouds, wake, wind, and time of day. Selected by dice roll during scheduling. Prizes Pending Sponsors The 51st PVO & 100th KIAP are sincerely grateful to all those who are supporting SATAC 2021! Eagle Dynamics, Heatblur, Magnitude 3, Deka Ironworks, Razbam, Tacview, LotATC. 2. I'm unable to remove these two elements from the helmet-mounted display using the reject modes and reject setup. To reproduce, in the HMD support page, select reject level 2, and in reject setup, set all options to level 1 or 2. The NIRD circle and seeker FOV will remain displayed on the HMD. Attached is a short track of me reproducing the issue. HMD_Reject_Issue.trk

  9. I apologies for taking your post as provocative. The thread title made me wonder, but now I understand how this wasn't your intention. The quote is still correct as of this post; the edits made were before this thread's publication. We indeed encourage people to post about adding these features, but asking for these features in the correct sub-forum and not referencing us in your thread title would've been more appropriate.
  10. Wow so a lot of mudslinging going on in this post. We've said once ECM and its effects are fully implemented in the F-14, we're more than happy to remove all restrictions from it, a fact that I feel has been purposely removed from the context, from a thread that seems is here just to cause trouble.
  11. We have a critical update on the format. In light of recent updates to modules regarding ECM, we have decided to restrict the F-14's jammer usage in matches due to being the only aircraft in the event currently without jam effects.
