I don't know if this is normal, since I never have flown an Mirage F-1, but I have set the X-seturation to 60% for my Warthog throttle with push-through detents, so I do not inadvertently go into afterburner.

Check if your clock is set correctly. If not, righ-click on your time/date on the status bar, select "Adjust date/time" and then click the "Sync now" button. After that remove the campaign from the module manager and repair DCS. Afterwards the campaign should be listeted under "Campaigns/AJS37". At least this worked for me. Good luck.

@G.J.SYou are right. I did not thought about the reflections of those parts. But I wouldn't mind, if ED would tone down those reflections.
-
I also noticed, that the HUD and parts of the canopy (I do not mean the scratches) have artefacts, that look like the cockpit is misted.

DCS Helicopter community thank you guys a million!
Mean Old Man replied to BaD CrC's topic in DCS: Syria Map
Yes, indeed. This map is really beautiful - well the area around Haifa at least -- didn't had the chance to view all of it yet:). Flying around with the Gazelle and the Huey and it is really fantastic how good this area looks. Thank you Ugra Media for making this map and ED for publishing it:). -
Recommended curves/saturations for the Gazelle?
Mean Old Man replied to gmetzo's topic in SA-342M Gazelle
Take a look at the already mentioned video from Casmo. Also, this video might help. I have a TM Warthog throttle with push-trough detents. I use the left throttle as Fuel Flow Lever and the right throttle as Flight Control Collective. Because of the detent I use the following values:
Slider|True Inverted|True User Curve| False Deadzone |25 (this is because of the detent and Inverted == True) Saturation X|100 Saturation Y|100 Curve|+15
Regarding Cyclic I used to have a value of 40 for Saturation Y for each axis, but I changed it to 25 for Flight Control Cyclic Roll after watching Casmo's video and I'm quite happy with this change. -
I use TX2(UHF) for COM1 (also Backup-Radio) and TX1(VHF AM) for COM2. Works without problems, using the latest beta of Voice Attack and VAICOM PRO 2.5.12.1

Silly Request - Buttons on DCS Home Screen
Mean Old Man replied to flameoutme's topic in DCS Core Wish List
This would indeed be very nice. Let users decide which buttons to display and which not, because - let's face it - there will be more planes and maps and what not. And for planes and maps one doesn't own, there could be a catch-all-button "More great planes and maps from ED". -
Visual Studio Code wird von Microsoft kostenlos bereit gestellt und ist eine Empfehlung. Der Editor lässt sich mit Hilfe von Plug-Ins (z.B. Lua und Lua Debug) erweitern.

I run DCS on an 2015 iMac, using BootCamp and drivers from BootCampDrivers.com. Unfortunately, the Limit-FPS feature from AMD doesn't work reliably for me, so I'm glad to have this parameter in my autoexec.cfg, because it provides nearly constant 30fps @1080p resolution, instead of jumping constantly from 30 fps to 60 fps.
-
Agreed, too much copy & paste, but the maxfps setting has it's purpose and in my case, it's an excellent idea.
-
FYI: you can also create the file autoexec.cfg in C:\Users\$USER\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config with the following content: options.graphics.statsColor = {250,250,250} With this you don't loose your configuration, if you update DCS. Further Information can be found in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Config/graphics_readme
