  1. No worries at all. Wonder if they'd have taller headers for the nano so it wouldn't be an issue.
  2. Am I able just to rotate the nano 180 degrees? or does it have to go towards the rj45 connectors?
  3. The Legend speaks and we are greatful! Thank you. I'll give that a shot.
  4. Hey bud. I watched your video At 47 minutes into your video you talk about building your hub. Pretty detailed work. But for me being a non engineer, I have no idea how this works. I've gotten some PCB's made for the nanos to accept a max 487 and to be daisy chained via network. There's two network connectors on the board. But I will still need to be able to deliver 5v to all of the boards as well. Just curious if you had any more insight on how to get started. Thanks!
  5. https://prnt.sc/r4s9ur The PCB's turned out awesome!
  6. Vinc. I have the 3 prong pcb. I talked to a guy on YouTube that has built the same panel. They have the 5v pin marked which is nice. He said I can disregard the middle pin and just use the two outer pins for my matrix.
  7. I saw that too. But then theres another guy on youtube that wired the panel, and he says you can just use the one 5v pin and disregard the middle pin. Seems like that makes wiring much easier.
  8. The build quality of this panel is incredible. Well done from PCFlights. The LED PCB's have 3 prongs on the back and never seen that. Does that mean there are two LEDs and one ground? https://prnt.sc/r2xvel https://prnt.sc/r2xubi The imbedded images wern't working.
  9. Hey Craig, I get the schematic and how it works, but going from schematic to actually wiring and practical application is where I get lost. I will keep watching your video though.
  10. Craig, You are a legend. I've watched many of your videos on youtube. Your cockpit is stellar. Thanks I'll check this video out in more detail!
  11. I have bought a a10 caution panel from PC Flights and should be here later this week. I bought LED's and Joe Sim on youtube said to connect it all with a 10k ohm resistor. I also have a few max7219 to run it off of. Does anyone have a detailed example of how to wire it all up? I'll be using an arduino mega to start and then transition it over to an arduino nano. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  12. Does that PCB have a max487 for the networking? Nice job. Wish I had your brain :)
  13. Question for Hans. This is a little bit over my level right now. But including the code is amazing! I had a question about using the max487 chip versus using an RS485 module like so. https://www.amazon.com/Max485-Chip-RS-485-Module-Raspberry/dp/B00NIOLNAG/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=rs485&qid=1566267818&s=gateway&sr=8-4 Is that possible? Or just more expensive than using the max487 chip? Great demonstration Hans.
  14. Hey JG. Thanks for the reply. i just did what you said. Now DCS Bios says Waiting for 0 seconds, press a key to continue. I press a key and nothing happens. Do you have teamspeak? Would you be willing to help?
