  1. I have a question regarding this sentence from the Viper Mini Updates. Perhaps this was already answered before but I could not find any statement. When using data link in the F-16 are we still referring to a simulation of Link-16? Or is TNDL an own data link net that may overlap with Link-16 capabilities but is not Link-16? At least the label at the HSD MFD page below "XMT" was L16 before, now it is TNDL. This is not complaining and I understand if complications arose. This is just for classification.
  2. Hello @kikaku, many thanks for your work on this planning tool. I desperately looked for such a tool. Unfortunately I encounter some layout problems that some texts are overlapping with controls or the DED images are overlapping. I attached some screenshots. Could you give me a hint what could be wrong? My desktop resolution is 5120x1440 with a 100% scaling. I use the 1.5 version. nullnullnull Got it, needed to install the fonts.
  3. Hi together, I encountered strange behavior with mark points in conjunction with the HTS and having no A/G ordnance. So my loadout is only A/A + TGP + HTS. No A/G weapons able for preplanned mode. When I switch to A/G then CCIP mode is entered. Now I select the HAD page. As far as I understood, bugging something on the HAD creates a SPI/STP at this location. So TGP slews to it, all fine. So now I want to create a mark point from the TGP and hit ICP-7 MARK, dobber right to TGP and change SOI to TGP. But TMS up does not create a mark point for me. Coordinates keep all 0. So even when I dobber through all mark point creation options, no mark point can be created. Don't know if this is a bug or correct behavior so: If this is correct, why I cannot create a MP from a SPI when I have no preplanned ordnance? The HAF T.O. GR1 F-1 60-34-1 —1 states I know this is not the version we have but what is the reason behind it to not be able to create a mark point in our Viper? Just want to understand it. Why can I change SOI via DMS down when in MARK mode? I thought MARK overrides SOI to the MARK selected sensor. And it seems to be the case for the first DMS down after entering MARK. MARK enters in HUD and DMS down gives SOI to left MFD and instantly switches back to HUD. You can see the flicker in the attached track. The next DMS down will then change to left MFD. Track attached. mark.trk
  4. I had the same issue and really struggled to find the cause. I'm currently on Valve Index but don't know if you are in VR, too. For me this was a damaged VR headset cable. It starts some day and I suspected an update. After some time I figured out that when I straighten the cable manually, alignment instantly succeeds. Where before it failed constantly. The crazy think was you never saw this. No tracking issues. HMCS crosses perfectly aligned. My headset is currently in repair so I hope this is gone afterwards.
  5. Preordered F-16EX throttle at March 15th and got shipping notice April 13th with estimated arrival 4/25/2022. Keep you up...
  6. OK, I think I found the cause to some degree. Seems it is related to fpsVR running in background. Don't know if fpsVR changed something internally with coordinates but when I close it then alignment works. Last fpsVR update was April 6th so could correlate. I can also get around it when letting fpsVR running and do "Reset seat position" in SteamVR. Both should fix coordinates reported. This is totally strange since visually ones sees no difference.
  7. Yes, but I'm stuck at step 1 because alignment fails. Nobody I fly with seems to have this problem so I think it's VR headset related? Thanks for the hint. Will record in empty mission then.
  8. Sorry, my bad. I mean Cursor Enable of course. I change the description.
  9. Recently I'm not able to do a JHMCS alignment anymore. In the COARSE alignment step I permanently get an "ALIGN FAILED" message instead of "OK". I depress CURSOR ENABLE button and keep it pressed until alignment is finished (or failed for me). This happens during cold start as well as hot start. Never had this problem before so I would assume it has changed since one of the last updates. I'm in VR on a Valve Index, if this is important. Track files: https://my.hidrive.com/share/i1dv-457ca Btw, how do I upload track file >5MB? My track files are about 1 min and already 7MB. Is there a way to shorten them?
  10. I could reproduce this on Marianas map (UTC+10). After I set time to 11h local the DL starts working. Thanks man for your finding. I waited so long for working DL on Marianas and it was just the time of day...
  11. Ok thanks. I'll give all of them a try.
  12. Hi! I'm realtive new to BS and after some time training to fly and to use the systems I want to take up the hatchet and fly some of the delivered missons. Could anyone tell me which missons are good for beginners? I mean not so difficult to complete. Or has anyone seen some good learning missions? Thanks!
  13. Hi! I'm trying to read some values from Black Shark via socket using the export.lua. What I get is: local tas = LoGetTrueAirSpeed() local altBar = LoGetAltitudeAboveSeaLevel() local altRad = LoGetAltitudeAboveGroundLevel() local pitch, bank, yaw = LoGetADIPitchBankYaw() What I do not get is: local ias = LoGetIndicatedAirSpeed() local mcp = LoGetMCPState() This means "ias" and "mcp" is always nil. Are these functions not yet supported or is this a bug? Greetings
