  1. At least in the Cougar grip all switches were high quality japanese OMRON, while in the Warthog they replaced the most important ones with crappy copper membrane switches. They didnt change anything on the (mushy) hat design or mechanically stressed Zamac parts (tailpiece). That is as cheap as you can possibly make it and hardly an improvement. :/ I guess the correct paddle switch geometry can be considered an upgrade though. In the new F-16 grip there is probably even more Zamac and less OMRON... Not a fan of what TM is doing currently, especially at that price point.
  2. Hello Von Webber, Currently we have no Cougar mods in stock. However, we are at the moment in the process of making a large new batch. At this time our focus is set on making the different CH mods viable and consumer ready. I will post in this thread and send out email information once we have the Cougar mods back in stock (to those that wrote us an email). Promise! My estimate for new Cougar sensora is early December. We are very sorry about the inconvenience at the moment, but there is just no way for us to speed up production. Lots of real life trouble going on and rel4y is mostly busy developing and testing completely new stuff for now. So please be patient guys, prices will stay the same and the sensors will be back in stock in December! Cheers! :smilewink:
  3. Cougar Throttle USB adapters are sold out again. I am on a trip the next 10 days, so the next batch will be available end of October/ early November. Maybe the new CH sensors will be ready by that time as well.
  4. Yes, absolutely everything! Cocaine, ballistic missiles, plutonium rods, .. (To the NSA and North Korea reading this, I am joking! I dont have anything like that in stock. Maybe next week though.) No, the new CH sensors are not ready yet. We are not that fast. :) Yeah beta is a stretch.. It does look good though. :D
  5. The next batch of Cougar USB adapters is ready. Everything is back in stock now. I will email everyone on the waitinglist tonight. Was busy producing sensors, so I didnt have much time to answer emails. One change though, I had to raise the digital sensor price a bit. Dont worry, the set is still much much more affordable than the TUSBA and includes a high quality digital sensor. I personally find the Cougar digital GMR sensor is the hardest to make, so I dont see why rel4y made it the cheapest. It takes me sometimes 10 minutes just to solder on the wires to the sensor.. :music_whistling: Hey Sirrah, I think the Viper is currently pretty early beta state, so that may just be a bug. I think the Mig29 had similiar trouble earlier. The throtte overall becomes much more precise and responsive I would say. Id say give it a try if it doesnt ruin your bank account. Good luck! :)
  6. We should have known that somebody has done the paddle mod before and that this somebody was you Sokol. Making these mods is generally not that hard for someone with experience, the hard part is making it elegant and fool proof for anyone to install and use. :) In terms of expanding the original CH board. Theoretically the LEDs are connected to columns, so it could be possible to expand the button matrix like this. There is also an unused C9 column on the newer rev boards pinned out, that would bring up the button count to a max of 32. But I don't know if the CH software is capable of interpreting the new buttons and I'm convinced it's not worth the hassle on a board with obsolete 8 Bit ADCs...
  7. Then Sokol is right and the issue is not in your throttle. It's either the cable, your cougar stick mainboard or software.
  8. The 24 pin connector in the Throttle is plugged to a 22 pin header. Check if it is in the right position.
  9. Phew..., after an email marathon I have now answered all of your mails. With a bit of luck the USB adapters will be back in stock by Tuesday. :) Thank you for your patience! Cheers!
  10. Hey guys, Sorry to all those waiting for a response to their email, I caught a flu and was knocked out for almost two weeks. Currently rel4y and I are investing 99% of our freetime in the development of new cool mods and producing new units of our already existing mods. I think next monday we will have everything back in stock and should able to ship them goodies again. In case you are waiting for response to an email of yours, I am very sorry but please be patient, I will answer you this weekend! Big fat promise! :) Thank you all for your support!
  11. Big batch of shipments left the shop today. We have to order new 3D printed parts for all sensors, all electrical/ mechanical parts are already ordered or in stock. That may take up to two weeks, so the Throttle adapters (with digital GMR sensor) will not be available for that time. If anybody knows of a good 3D printing service in Europe, which does SLS Nylon please contact me. I have had some bad experiences with Shapeways lately. :noexpression: 14 Bit GMR sensor is out of stock! Its in the works and will be significantly improved. If testing goes well, my estimate is end of November.
  12. Thank you my friend! :) Btw I just made 6 new USB adapters + sensors, but after that I am out for a few weeks. The newest revision of sensors are all in 1 piece, I will attach a photo shortly.
  13. Hey Judy, I received it and answered today. Had some important business over the last days. The USB standalone adapter stock is getting low. I have already ordered new parts however. Another batch of shipments will go out tomorrow.
  14. First large batch of shipments is going out tomorrow. Thanks for all the friendly mails and orders! Love this community already! :) Everything still in stock btw.
  15. Orders are still processed via email now, so please no PMs to rel4y or me. To order or ask questions please contact mtwsims@tutamail.com Thank you guys for your support!
  16. Well, thats not exactly true. I have a bunch of CH Pro Throttle sensors in stock right now. The CH stick sensors are a bit tricky. First of all they have a different max angle and the axle supports the structure of the whole gimbal. In future stick sensors may very well be coming back. rel4y has sent me CAD files of a new revision, but it also needs a new PCB. So I need to convince him somehow to make this new PCB. :smilewink:
  17. Hello guys, Some of you have already been in contact with me before, as I looked after rel4ys PMs when he was in hospital in March. I am his little brother and will now take over his sensor business. :D He has lost interest in this forum/ DCS since his posting rights were taken away a few months ago. I myself am more of a space sim guy and havent flown much DCS tbh. rel4y is currently still making the SMD parts as I have not much experience with SMDs, but I do solder all the USB adapters and wiring myself. We have a bunch of cool new projects in the works, but I will make a separate thread for these. I would like to change the ordering process a bit since PMs dont work too well imo. You can now place your order or ask questions via email. This way nobody is forced to register in this forum and I can also offer the sensors in other forums. To start off the new chapter, I would like to present to you a big batch of everything. :D To order or ask questions please contact mtwsims@tutamail.com Cheers mtw
