  1. Absolutely amazing work guys, finally had a chance to give her a try and told myself I'd quickly fly it around during a lunch break, ended up spending the whole lunch break flying the hawk and forgetting to have my lunch!

Congratulations to a job well done, we all know how much work it takes to make all that work out well.

  2. Try the T45C(or other Naval aircraft such as the Superhornet) with vLSO for carrier approaches its quite good. There is nothing out there that is as good as that for carrierops with vLSO the grading is the best I've seen as far as that goes. The devs that do the mods such as VRS, Dino, Javier, FSXNAVYPILOT and a lot of others have put a lot of attention to detail on their mods and there is a lot of technical advisers helping them such as RL pilots/LSOs etc. The day anyone starts making a T45C or Superhornet it will instantly be compared to those mods by people that have them. DCS will most likely require at some point a vLSO system of some sort for the T2 and the F/A-18C as it gives really good feed back as to how well the pilot is doing vs real life carrier landings. Since I've been doing that stuff with FSX(since acceleration was released) I've seen some quite big improvements as far as carrierops is concerned. When it first came out there was no CV ops at all in mp and now its got to the point where combat in mp is now possible as well as CV ops. :pilotfly:

BTW that latest video in the update by Wags is very good, looking forward to flying the Hawk you guys are doing a great job.

Sorry to get off topic, but WOW! I spend 99% of my time in FSX doing carrier patterns and never once heard of this. Thanks for showing this!

  3. Thanks Chris, that went above and beyond what I asked for. Sounds good, yeah I understand there are significant differences to the Goshawk that would required major rework, but I'm pretty happy with any variant of the Hawk, just curious which one it would be :)

Again, thanks for providing additional info as well!

  4. Hey guys, what variations of the Hawk are you guys doing? are you planning on rolling out an initial variation and then pushing out others as you make them?

I'm a huge fan of the Hawk (the Hawk 60 aka T-45 Goshawk) will you guys be doing that variant (and associated Navy training skin/pit?) Thanks!
