    Well let me begin by introducing myself.. I just bought the game and have no idea what I'm doing. This is my first sim and it's really addicting. I noticed this forum has no home for us rookies so I took the liberty of making one. If any noob questions or simple querks you can't solve by yourself arise, I hope this thread is a good place to start. From what I've seen this sim community is way different than any other game I've seen, and people have been helpful. If any more rookies out there want to introduce themselves and post up a few questions feel free. Maybe we can get online sometime and work on the basics of flight, navigation and landing/ taking off. I guess I will start off by sharing a track (no laughing) and ask a question about the HUD.. how come sometimes it starts up and other times I cant seem to bring it up (besides the standby)?     Ok, figured it out. Can't turn on the engine generators. Thanks for the help. I'll check it out too joey.

    Sorry about the labeling error everyone. Thanks nemises on looking into it for me, I really appreciate it. I'll turn off my EEG Gas Gen and try it out.

    Ok here is a track of a typical start-up I do. Same problem. I know I'm doing something wrong, I can't figure it out. I moved my RPM thing up to auto by hitting page up twice. Both engines started up and got to idle within sixty seconds. APU is off and generators, governors are on. I'm just not sure. I'm doing something wrong..trk

    Thanks for all the input, I will post a track file and look into some of the other suggestions.

    In every mission I have to cold start my aircraft I'm getting this problem: My aircraft wont go higher than 6-8 feet. I've double checked my start-up procedures five times in a row, and I am doing everything on point. I tried calibrating my joystick, and changed the simulation "easy fly" option, but I am still getting this problem. Am I a complete fool, or is there something legitimately going on here?
