Hi all, During multiplayer, I am experiencing on both computers where my brother and I are playing Lockon FC 1.12b that the orange text is appearing on the screen, and we dont know how we can make it go away. I have looked at the key commands and I have not found anything that could make this so called text dissapear. The only way to make it disappear is to return to lobby, then return to the main home screen and go back to network play again where the text will "disappear". Please see the attached image. Any suggestions fellas? Lockon Ver 1.12b

Hi all, I have installed the mod VNAO which has the F14 and F18 aircraft. The textures however do not appear on the models. I am using FC v.1.12b and the latest modman which was used to install the VNAO mod. I installed the mod by checking AND unchecking the COPY TO CDDS FILES WHERE POSSIBLE option, and both install methods have failed to produce aircraft models with textures. What could be wrong? damn, thats a pity. I guess I will have to settle for a dual core extreme edition with a solo-gpu, at least as far as what I can get in Brisbane from dell...

Then what is the right answer? I am hoping I am wrong cause I want to get a quad core dual graphics laptop...for both FSX and Lomac. But I need to know for sure if these programs will *actually* take advantage of this hardware before I splash 6 grand...

The standard F14 model via xml edit does not appear to swing wings automatically, and there is no way to manually sweep them. With the VNAO model, the wings can be swept, but not all the way. The only way to fully sweep them is to deploy the flaps.

Does anyone know if the operating code of FC takes advantage of 4 CPU cores and/or dual graphic cards? I know FSX takes advantage of only 2 cores and one graphics card from what I read somewhere.

Excellent! will this work in multiplayer mode as well? can other players see the wings move back and forth at will? What key is it to swing the wings with teh VNAO mod?

Is it possible at all in any version of Lockon? are there mods that enable the wings to be swept at all in the F-14?

The F14 is flyable if you change the appropriate settings in the xml file...

What key do u press to swing the wings back and forth on the F14?

I have checked all the key commands, and the only one (I dont have a joystick) that can be used to launch a weapon is the space bar. Unfortunatley when I press D and press C to make sure the cannon is not selected, nothing happens.

I have the demo version of Lockon. I would like to fire all the various weapons the aircraft has on board. I press the 7 key and then the D key to cycle through the weapons, but all that happens is that the cannon fires. Is this normal or am I missing something here?

Oh no! is there a way the FM can be changed for this example aircraft?

If I were to fly an AI default F-16C Falcon, would it have the flight dynamics of an F16 or would it have a default flight dynamics definition for one of the default flyable aircraft such as the A-10?

Hello, How long does it normally take for the boxed versions of LockOn to leave the place of origin. I understand with international post that time varies, but was wondering how long it takes to get the status of the order payments from "Processing" to "Complete" or something of the sort?
