Hi Apache600
I wanted to remark on this mission. At first, when I read the briefing I though I would skip it as being tedious - one of those where you fly forever only to miss some detail and have to do it all over again. I thought I'd give it a go one time just to try. And am I glad I did! I read through your briefing (very precise and accurate) called up the flight plan chart on my 2nd monitor, and opened google's stopwatch. I put the kneeboard minimap up and marked my position as I flew to make sure I didn't make any errors. Did it on the first go thanks to your detailed info. I highly recommend this mission to anyone playing this awesome campaign...it isn't as glorious as rocket runs and dogfights, but it wis EXTREMELY satisfying to have mastery of monitoring your instruments, keeping heading and speed numbers in your head, and achieving the objective. I felt anxiety throughout the whole trip at moments, but there was enough time between waypoints to collect my thoughts and stick to the task at hand, setting up the next maneuver. As well, the time of the mission set a fantastic ambiance for the flight. Well done Apache600...this (almost) skipped mission turns out to be my favourite so far in a fantastic campaign!
