  1. I have three Cubesim displays with cougar MFDs for sale with cables and power supplies. Running all three off a higher wattage supply with splitters now.

Full disclosure as I have posted in this and other forums the cables can be finicky and it you move them around or jiggle them they sometimes disconnect and reconnect. Once mounted with cables tied up I didn't have issues.

I also have a fourth cougar MFD I'll include as a spare.

The ICP and Streamdeck pictured are not part of the sale. Nor is the piece of 8020 but the ball mounts for the Cubesim are included.

Looking for $300 plus actual shipping.

  2. I have been running an Intel 10700K, 64GB DDR4, RTX3090 setup for a couple years now.  While I have a Reverb G2, I prefer to fly triple screen as I have a lot of hardware and just enjoy not having that mask on plus the larger peripheral view I get.  I'll use the VR more in IL2.

I bounce between triple 4K and Triple 1440.  While 4K was kind of flyable in SP with the 10700K / 3090 it wasn't the best FPS, mostly high 20's - low 30's.

I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade again.  Now I'm running an AMD 7800X3D on an Asrock B650 board with 64GB of DDR5.

I ran some tests using the F/A-18 and the Apache in various maps (Syria, Marianas and Caucasus).  The tests were run using the 7800X3D and using both the 3090 and the 4090.  All were run at 7860 x 1440.

I may try to run some in triple 4K as well as in the Reverb G2 soon in case I sell off the other 3090 I have if it would be useful for anyone.  I have the in game FPS counter up on the center monitor.  It may be a little hard to read on a mobile devicee, but I talk through the numbers I am seeing.

TLDR: 4090 upgrade well worth it, going from 10700K to 7800X3D also a nice jump

I just got a new PC with a 4090 and I was thinking about gaming with 3 monitors if possible.

I have one 32 inch 4k monitor and was thinking about getting two more.

    Will the 4090 handle 3 4k monitors?

I tried an ultrawide but there was a noticeable decrease in picture quality from the full 4k even though the UW I tried was 1600 pixel width instead of the 1440.

If the 4090 will handle the 3 monitors what kind of FPS should I expect?

Instead of using two 4k monitors, one on each side, what about two 2k monitors? Would that be easier on my GPU?

Can you run different resolutions on several monitors if you extend them for gaming?

What about using to slightly smaller 4k monitors for each side, say 28 inches, is that an option?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've run 3 70" 4k on a 10700k / 3090 for awhile now, though I don't fly much MP.  Not everything is turned up but it runs decent.

Running 2k vs 4k would be less of a strain, but i prefer running at the native monitor / TV res

Just ordered parts for a 7800X3D / 4090 build to replace it.

Sir, this problem existed a year ago. Now we do not have the problem of delayed delivery. In fact, we have suggested that if the delivery is delayed again, we will compensate the customer. In addition, there is a 6-month after-sales service guarantee. You cannot falsely accuse us for your own reasons, which is immoral. I will not respond to your comments, and I will spend my time on other clients who need me.

What's more, the company you mentioned adopted our previous plan, and their price is similar to ours. We also look forward to seeing them bring you better flight simulation equipment.

Falsely? The only thing false is your promise of a quality product and a timely delivery.

There's a whole megathread here on DCS discussing all your issues and it constantly stays near the top

I'm not looking for any service from you, you've already proven you lack any integrity.  I'm just warning others of your shady practices and horrible quality

We acknowledge that we have had problems with our supply chain as a result of COVID-19. It has brought inconvenience to many customers, and we have also upgraded our products for free for many customers. In view of the above reasons, we continue to improve our services. For this new product release, we provide time-limited guarantee service for customers and punish our delivery delay through payment. We hope users can put forward more suggestions and we will continue to improve our products and services.

......but for anyone that bought their junk from "COVID-19" supply chain issues sorry you're screwed.  Real trustworthy.  Not to mention it's priced far above competing products.

  7. The poor quality was from day 1 after waiting months for the product to ship including false shipping notifications.  Search Cubesim across reddit and any flight sim forum and you'll find plenty of their shady history.

The poor quality speaks for itself but if that's not enough, they know their screens had issues and acknowledge it in their sales page for their screen product

"The second generation product  had replaced the LCD panel with better quality, added the main power switch, replaced the large USB port to prevent plug failure"

Yet they continue to defend shipping shady quality product to customers.  They stand behind nothing.

Their suggestion to fix is to glue the USB plug to the panel....WTF?

  8. Pretty poor quality connectors on Cubesim screens, any touch or the cable causes a disconnect which renders DCS useless until reboot as all screen positions change.  Sad that cubesim knew about this, even changing screens in the latest version, but offer zero support except "hey how about 5% off if you buy all new screens"

Living with this junk for the last year, no resolution

You better hope it does because you have no warranty.

I don't support knockoffs that steal from the companies making the real products.

    Awesome, good luck

You must not have used the hat clip? Did you have some sort of clear tape covering the camera?

Never use those hat clips.  Have the battery powered LED thing.

The TIR camera knockoff works just fine.

That's a Chinese knockoff. Good luck with one of those. Easy to spot with the two piece hat clip.

Bought one like those after my TIR5 died.  No issues last 18 months.
