Thanks. I have DCS installed on an external hard drive. It is giving me the option to set paging size for both my C and D (external) drives. Do I set both to 32GB? DCS also uses my Documents folder from my C drive apparently. Also gives me an option for minimum and maximum settings. Set both to 32GB?

Just wondering the cause of these CTDs I'm getting, if anyone can figure out the attached log file. It is occurring no matter the aircraft or scenario. Using Oculus Rift S with Steam VR. Thanks, Andrew dcs.log

Got it. Thanks a lot. I appreciate the screenshot.

Oh ok, I am not aware of any user campaign instruction location. Where might these be found? Also, I additionally found a campaign folder in: D:/Steam/steamapps/common/DCSWorld/Mods/campaigns and then also in that mods folder is an aircraft folder which each also have a "mission" folder. I am thoroughly confused. I would simply like to know: 1. Where do user-made campaigns go? 2. Where do user missions go? Thanks Again.

I found 2 campaign folders: D:Steam/Common/DCSWorld/Mods/Campaigns and Users/Me/Saved Games/DCS/Missions/Campaigns I downloaded some user campaigns from the DCS website and I am wondering why the two folders in seperate locations and which one do my user campaigns go into? And I will likely have questions about any mission folders and user mission placements so i might as well ask about that too. Thanks. Andrew

I flipped the axis and that seems to have worked. Thanks. -
Items for consideration in building the Pacific theater in DCS
gryper replied to Charlie Foxtrot's topic in Pacific Theatre
Yeah, perhaps just the Solomons, or a portion of them. -
Whenever taxiing when I hit the brakes on my Saitek pedals, the pedals (toe brakes) are acting as if they were the parking brake. I come to an abrupt stop, and cannot proceed until I hit the "w" key to unlock the parking brake. (And I know I have to hold the stick back to lock the tail wheel). It used to work fine until I had to re-install DCS. I would assume it is doing the same with my other aircraft, but I haven't checked yet. I recall having a similar issue with my A-10 awhile back, but I don't recall the remedy.

I just re-installed DCS. I saved my "inputuserprofiles" so I didnt have to go back through all of them. After re-installing, I put the inputuserprofile folder into the DCS Config folder and then checked DCS to see if it recognized it. I saw no change so I used the load feature to load what I think is correct: FA-18 Keyboard FA-18 Throttle FA-18 Stick FA-18 Rudder (Afaik I have to save a profile for each device) So I loaded all of my prior settings. I went back to the config folder and I see my inputuserprofiles folder but there is now also a (new?) folder called "input" and inside of this is now a new F-18 folder. I find this highly confusing. Can anyone explain what is going on with this? Thanks. STEAM VERSION

The video at 8:06 says red means "combat ready" and green means "travel mode". I guess, green for go, red for not travel-ready/combat mode.

I recently put DCS onto an external hard drive using the Steam/settings/download menu. I now have two folders that appear nearly identical: One is in the C:/users/<me>/Saved Games/DCS folder. The other is in This PC/My Book (D:)/DCS. Both have the nearly the same folders. I've got campaigns and missions in each one of these. Do I need to combine this or is DCS confused as to where the missions/campaigns are? And if I download missions from the DCS User website, where do I put campaigns and missions now? Which folder? What a mess. Thanks.

I had to re-install DCS. I'm not seeing any missions for the A-10CII. I had a bunch of add-on missions for it, but I don't even see the A-10CII listed in the mission selection menu; only the A-10C missions. Are there missions that come with the default/vanilla A-10CII? I can't remember. Thanks.

Too complicated for me. It's hard enough learning aircraft avionics and weapons systems. I can't get it working. Why I don't really play DCS anymore after dumping about a grand into it. My fault. But thanks. Hopefully this helped someone.
