Thanks for the reply The instructions don’t really help though as all other servers seem to work fine. So there shouldn’t be anything stopping DCS running a server. It seems to be aerobatics online only

Hope this is the right place to post this I was recently flying on aerobatics online. I did everything normally and nothing against rules. When I left and tried to rejoin the next day it read “connection refused”. I can’t tell if this is a ban or not just a bug because there is nothing telling me I’m banned. Does anyone know if this is just a bug or if they actually banned me for no reason? If they did ban me how to I request an unban? Do I have to create a Facebook account or do they have some easier way of getting in touch? Thanks

bignewy, with all due respect, new updates cause a lot of problems and this new one certainly isn't any different. I think the "updates" thread should be for problems with new "updates" as well This post will probably get me banned cause we're not allowed to express our opinion if it upsets ED, but please do not censor the people asking questions about the problems your team has caused flying ace

Quick question for maverick, How long will the server be using the Persian Gulf map? The longer the better IMO as I feel this is the only server that can use a map other than Caucasus and have over 40 players at times.

I was flying on Growling Sidewinders main server this evening and just as I got into the heat of the battle my FCR broke. The radar elevation seems to automatically slew to -99, -99 and when I try and increase it using +,- it refuses to change. I was wondering if anyone else was encountering this issue or if it was just me. It’s basically made my f-16 unusable as the issue reoccurs on any server I try.

If you’re new to DCS, for a first purchase I recommend the f-15. It’s a relatively simple plane which will teach you all you need to know concerning radar usage and a-a combat without having to worry about complex operating systems. It’s a great first step into DCS :)

Hi lee1hi, But would the data link still function to its full capability even if the INS does not align to its highest level of precision (a 6 on the DED page)

Hi all, As the f-16 now has functions that require the INS to be aligned , I was wondering how precise the alignment needs to be. In the INS page displayed on the DED it counts down from 99 to 6, but is there any need to wait the extra 4 minutes for it to reach 6, or is functionality the same no matter how accurately it aligns itself.
