  1. Thanks for the info. Looking at squadrons now. /r, Paco
  2. I'm an experienced sim pilot who specializes in the Hornet but am willing to learn the A-10, F-16 or even AV-8B. I'm located in the CST and am available on weekends. I can mission design but don't want to be the "go to" mission design guy. I have using DCS since 2008. I can fly form, IMC, trap, tank, play JTAC, etc. Let me know if you're looking for a Hornet pilot. Am willing to retrain to another platform for the right squadron. Thanks. Paco
  3. Looking to buy a Varjo VR headset. Will Point Control be able to adapt to this headset? /r, Paco
  4. Thanks. I realized what I was doing wrong. All very good points.
  5. Seems I'm having an issue undesigating a target when using the ATFLIR. I have to put the pod into standby then it works. Undesignate works as advertised when using the Litening pod. Just me?
  6. Just received two emails from ED about a password change. Is this legit? Thanks. Paco
  7. Left a message on your VFA-82 recruiting discord channel.
  8. Nope, my lights were on. I'll replay the mission and post pics. On the F2 view, I could see the peanut light on, but it doesn't illuminate the basket. More accurately.........the graphics representation of the light being on does not produce a picture that represents an illuminated basket.
  9. Just tested the Harrier and the light on the basket worked.
  10. Odd. I was tanking off the KC-135 and it was completely dark. I did verify by external view that the lights were on including the peanut light, but it didn't light up the tanker. I'm on the road. Will posts pics later.
  11. The light on the refueling probe does not illuminate the basket during night refueling. I look on the external view and see the peanut light is on but it doesn't illuminate the basket. Seem to remember is used to. And yes, I'm probably the only dork who tanks at night.
  12. Same thing here. Instrument navigation training doesn't work in multi crew. Too bad. Will this be fixed?
  13. I have been critical of ED in the past for their slow development of products and perpetual EA of some modules. I said I would never buy another module in EA. But...………….in light of this one month free thing which supports their customer base in COVID times, I'm buying not one but two modules. Modules I really am not all that crazy for but I'll support ED. Good job ED. PS. Keep developing your EA modules please!
  14. Nope, but at least the POD is functional. Features not modelled that should be 1) Being able to derive target coordinates from your pod. 2) Being able to use the HMCS and slew your pod to what you are looking at (would be nice in the A-10C as well.) 3)Being able to use and enter MGRS for coordinates. While this not a only a pod issue, the nav system can't take MGRS. The A-10C has a finished Targeting pod.
  15. I'm just happy I can finally slew the TGP to a WP. Amen.
  16. yes!! Please share the fix, please.
  17. +1. Well said. Fix the basic stuff first, then worry about super carrier.
  18. Bug fixed in latest patch, thank you.
  19. Wasn't expecting a Hornet update after the dumpster fire of an update that was released. There's a lot of work to be done and I hope ED is trying to fix it. After buying the Hornet in EA and doing some thinking, I made the decision to not purchase a complex aircraft in EA again. Especially any module produced by ED. Previously, I bought modules to support ED, even ones I didn't want. No more. Their business model and customer base supports releasing half-baked products and then neglecting them for years, while they release more half-baked products. The data points are there, so you shouldn't be surprised. I assume most of us wouldn't support this type of business venture from a contractor working on our house but we accept in the DCS community. Releasing something in EA is not a license to let it sit for years, while you hide behind the, "well it's in early access...…", "...we plan this year...…" . ED has to regain lost trust among a portion of their customer base. I suspect this portion will grow in number. ED needs to put some trust points on the board and the clock is ticking.
  20. If you can start it, you can fly it! Seriously, I want it hot started. Starting is like practicing bleeding.
  21. I wish the Hoggitt exchange regarding development at ED was posted here. Although a fan of ED, I was (am) critical of the recent update and lack of progress on their EA modules. Having said that, after going to Hoggitt to read the updates there and the responses by Nick Grey, my confidence is somewhat buoyed. Honesty and transparency goes a long way. Hoping for a better 2020 and some finished modules.
