  1. Hi guys, I downloaded the Liberation campaign today and it looks really interesting. Unfortunately it does not run at all on my outdated system. I am now considering upgrading to a new one. Could someone please tell me whether it would run smoothly on a large-scale map (like the Persian gulf), during later stages of the campaign with a high number of units? I’m considering buying the following system: - Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 5 3600 (6 Cores, 32 MB L3 Cache, max. performance clock rate 4,2 GHz) - Graphic card: NVIDIA® GeForce GTX® 1660 Ti with 6 GB, GDDR6 - RAM: 16 GB HyperX™ DDR4 XMP @3.200 MHz; up to 64 GB Any help will be appreciated!
  2. Thanks a lot, Rudel - looking forward to it!
  3. Hi Rudel, I am enjoying your training missions. They are very well done and greatly help people who are new to the JF-17, like me! I think I found some bug: In the mission where you learn how to use the Targeting Pod, at some point the following message appears: "Ok, using what we have learned so far, click on the Arrow next to the Waypoint display and edit the value to 41." When I follow those instructions, nothing happens. It seems the trigger is broken.
  4. Alright cool, thanks for sharing your experiences
  5. Hi LastRifleRound, thanks for your hint. I used the A2 mode with LD bombs and it worked quite well! I find the target line is much easier to see in A2 mode actually. I also found though that in the A2 mode the (target) waypoint (e.g. M1) are not indicated. I therefore first used A1 mode to designate the target and, once designated, switched over to A2 mode. Is this the same method that you use or do you have a better procedure?
  6. Thanks RagnarDa and Skyflash My initial confusion is now solved with the explanation that the crosshair symbology for the firing line was replaced with a horizontal line since the said video was released. I am not sure whether it's correct that the firing line appears in other Master Modes, like NAV mode, I guess RagnarDa will know that one as well.
  7. Hi Skyflash, thanks for your help. I was using the low drag bombs, will have to do further testing to see whether it makes a difference when I use high drag bombs. I do get some kind of line in the 15km range setting (and higher range settings), but it's only a horizontal line, not a crosshair. I was following the instruction in the video below (from minute 03:39 on) which says that "as soon as you switch to ANF you get a target firing line" and in the picture the target firing line is the horizontal component of a crosshair. In my case I only get a horizontal line and it's there even if I'm in NAV mode (not just ANF mode). I can make a track file if required. Link to instruction video:
  8. When using the radar release method for the M/71 bomb I do not get a target firing line on the Central Indicator. I use the following settings: - Weapon Selector: RR - Master Mode: ANF - Altimeter: set to target's QFE - Radar mode: A1 or A2 Can anybody confirm whether you get a target firing line with the above settings in the current OB?
  9. That would be very nice indeed, I like the idea :-)
  10. Thanks for those awesome additions to my favorite module, HB, much appreciated! Can't wait to try them out! Haha, I literally just bought the Red Flag campaign for the Viggen yesterday, but I don't regret my purchase, I'm glad I could support it :-) Any word though on when RC2 of the manual will be released?
  11. Thanks guys, your replies are much appreciated! Still have a lot to learn in the Viggen :-)
  12. I don't get a radar sight (neither A1 nor A2) on the Central Indicator when loading AKAN gun pods, putting the Master Mode in the ANF position and setting the weapon selector to ATTACK. In the Gream Reapers' tutorial on the AKAN gun pod employement they seem to get a radar picture with the same settings (video from Dec. 2018). Has this been changed on purpose or has a bug been introduced?
  13. Wait, does that mean the way the ARAK rockets are implemented currently is not realistic and they could only be fired all at once IRL? If so, this realistic setting should be the default and the "unrealistic option" should be selectable in the settings. Same for bombs IMHO.
  14. - In the "Visual Approach, Landing and Shutdown" mission, after landing, the next sequence is not triggered where you're supposed to follow the Humvee and learn about the shutdown procedure - In the "Basic Navigation" mission two of the C-130s on the parking lot spawn into each other (very minor thing, but I think it could also easily be fixed)
