  1. Any help contacting the Hollywood FARP with the Huey? I've tried every frequency between 127.3 - 127.9 and all I get for the F10 option is for engine start-up.
  2. Just downloaded and played it last night. WHAT A MISSION! I loved it. Although I tried to start building the FOB, but was unable to lift the 1st cargo. I guess I need to reduce my A/C weight a lot more to get that container off the ground? Thanks for creating this mission.
  3. I had to re-run that mission 3 times to finally complete it. It is a right royal pain in the ass. What is also annoying about that mission, is that after you do all the shooting, the leader calls for you to form up and head home. But then this idiot flies an irritating pattern. He dives for the deck, down from the hill, then starts climbing rapidly whilst turning right. All the while, you've got to stay within 500m otherwise your co-pilot will fail the mission if you don't stick with him. JUST FLY STRAIGHT AND LEVEL IDIOT!!! ;)
  4. Hi Wolle, First off, thanks for creating a fantastic and thoroughly engaging mission for the Huey. I'Ve played it mostly as single player and just once multi-player. I really enjoy starting off and just waiting for the first call to come in and then head off to pick up a downed pilot or to drop off some re-inforcements. My only niggle I have with this mission are the amount of times I get shot down by Mig-23s. I'm just toodling along at tree-top level, when all of a sudden I'll lose control and just nose-dive in to the ground. Then it'll show me a picture of the Mig-23 that shot me down, silent but deadly. Since the Huey has no RWR or ECM, is there anyway you can tell the Mig-23s to bugger off and leave the Hueys alone? Cheers, GK
  5. I've just filled in my application. Looking forward to flying with you all, hopefully.
  6. Well a game like this isn't going to attract the ADHD teens that love stuff like Counter-strike, thankfully. So it leaves geeks like all of us to enjoy a superb, triple X rated, hard-core flight sim on our own. Like yourself, I spent the first week with the game just learning to hover taxi, successfully, up & down the taxiways at 5m. The effort you put in to it, really does make it worth while.
  7. Or try the COURIER single mission. First part is to land next to a jeep, and pick up some important documents, second part you have to land on a rapidly departing frigate/destroyer and deliver the orders. A great mission indeed, with low light and lots of rain.
  8. Oh Yes! All though not really the same thing, I really enjoyed that single mission COURIER in the game. I too used to love bussing troops around in a Blackhwak in LB2 and even the old Hind game from DI. Imagine the possibilities for missions... Picking up special forces at night, having to perch only your rear ramp on a small ledge etc... PLEASE BRING IT ON!
  9. I have a FFB stick and just moved on to the new version fine. Is the problem with the new trim more to those who don't have FFB?
  10. Can't wait to get home later and try all this out. :)
