What would be interesting would be Iran as an included faction, giving them F-14As and AIM-54As as well. Sure BluFor will still have the A/A+ with (hopefully) updated AIM-54Cs which should give a slight edge, but it wouldn't be 100% no contest. I do know that AWACS escorts are now going to get beefier (MiG-31 I'm looking at you) :D

Give them time, they're under a lot of stress as you can see. (unforeseen 1.2.15 bugs, activation issues, rolling out announcements, website issues, etc.) We'll get information as they can release it I'm sure. LN has had a good history of keeping us in the light of things so sit back relax and watch Top Gun. :D

AWACS are high priority targets, and the AIM-54 has range that very few (no other multiplayer driven) aircraft can match. I.E. AWACS can be picked off (depending on the circumstances of course) at ranges that it's practically immune to return fire unless said driver performs serious mistakes on their end. :)

It honestly wouldn't be a bad financial decision either. Once released the Falcon community would be easy money. Just need dynamic campaigns and *boom* Falcon is finished. ;)

I'm needing quite a bit of 23mm to down the E2, however I can always rely on 2-3 shots of 37mm to put her down. Usually with the entire fuselage on fire and massive amounts of visually appealing holes throughout. :)

That's absolutely more than reasonable. I know you guys work hard and spend way more time than we deserve on these modules. Impatient people will be impatient. However, (and this isn't directed specifically at you guys(just a general statement about announcements)) it seems ED has the best course of action when it comes to announcements. Take the F/A-18C for example. It's been confirmed, and it's a long ways off, but their announcement was essentially "Yes, we're doing the F/A-18C. It will be finished when it's finished." and that was that. Too much hype for an announcement/release can do more harm than good sometimes. Sometimes it's nice to get a tease, but after a while it causes people to become impatient if there's a lot of teasing being done, especially for something like a new project. ;)

Of all the modules I own this one is by far my favorite. Thanks LN for your continued dedication to this fantastic aircraft. Having watched this bird go from a mod for LockOn to a full fledged module has been awesome. Thanks again guys.

So I guess the best sure-fire way to down the AI is to go for the pit? It feels dirty but it can be done.

Regardless of personal opinions, they are a faction in the sim and there's really no argument for not having them as a bearer of the MiG-21 considering there are A LOT of liveries that don't have their own faction. For example: The Finnish livery of the MiG-21.

Why? While there aren't a lot of MiG-21's in "Insurgent" hands, there are definitally more than there are of MiG-15s, F-86s, or P-51s in "Insurgent" control. :music_whistling:

I dunno, I can usually fly with a full flight of 4 with only minimal issues (all of us dying simutaniously from AMRAAMs causes a minor hit in FPS). However, I rarely fly MP so I can't comment on that.

I've actually noticed the R-3S, R-13M, and R-13M1 are all very good and have fairly decent ECCM.
