Looking forward to the update. Wasn't expecting DLSS so soon.
Thank you all for the hard work.
Same here, can't wait to see the full list of changes and upgrades.

Been waiting a long time for these to be release. But I think I'll wait a little longer to see what phase two has to offer, before I make a purchase.

Once you get your controls setup and adjusted, all you need then is pratice and patience and you will get there.

First off, congrats on your Sinai map launch!
I haven't explored very extensively just yet, but I noticed quite an obvious line where Sinai map stops in detail (Haifa being pretty much an exception) and where Syria map begins. Are there any (perhaps far away) thoughts on how to somehow combine Sinai with the Syria map? Or is this absolutely impossible now and in the future for technical reasons (other than just lack of currently available hardware performance)? I mean, has this subject even been discussed with either Ugra and/or ED?
It looks as if you purposely stopped where Ugra Syria begins in order to at some point merge both maps. (which makes perfect sense to me btw. It would be kinda bonkers to re-design/develop all those parts of Israel and Syria that Ugra already created).
I know the technical part very well, in theory it is possible with some refinement of the TDC. I have never raised this issue with either Ugra or ED.
There are a lot of similar comments, so I think that we will return to this issue. Thank you
This would be an outstanding idea if both of these maps could be combined some how. I think it would be worthy of a conversation between the parties involved.

It's now working for me, nice recovery ED.

Congrats to the small group of programmers on an outstanding job!

Thanks for the great software and releasing it to open source where many can continue to enjoy your creation.

I would like to see DCS create their own version of Viacom, and sell it as a module/add on to cover the cost. It a know fact they are working on a new version of ATC so maybe it can be combined or not. The super carrier is a perfect example on the optional add on. Then it will be always available and update, and not dependent on a third party.

Well maybe DCS can create their own version of Viacom and sell it as an module/add on. I'm sure it would sell pretty good.

Yes its a shame. VKB certainly got put back with staffing loss and I feel sorry for them (and anyone in the same state) for that. I suspect they genuinely were gearing up for a terrific product and its release...but their plans have gone awry.
But VKB, (like others in this industry, and even some in the supporting YT community), do themselves zero favours with their sharp, condescending and plain smart arse replies to genuine enquiries. A bit of candid, and polite, explanatory communication would go a long way and probably garner better support and understanding.
Well stated and to the point, I totally agree with you.

I finally got all my issues ironed out at the moment, just a small ghost to work out. But all my TEK panels are working excellent at the moment without any crashes. Still looking forward to the Flight Panel switch over.

Look forward to this one!

Ok, thanks that will probably solve alot of problems.

I am wondering if anyone else has these panels and having similar issues that I am encountering. My Video Record panel is plugged in to the back of the IFEI and the IFEI brightness control is acting as a very sensitive aileron trim control. Also, none of the switches work. I tried to switch its mode with pushing and holding the MODE switch while pushing the QTY UP key. The unit does flash to let me know that something has happened, but it is still the same. Is there a correct time to do this, like after powered up, but before getting in to the hornet or something else?
I am also having a problem with DCS BIOS crashing on me at around 16 minutes after starting a flight. I had to load a different plugin for DCS BIOS to get the IFEI display to work properly and I think that is where the problem lies; that software has bugs in it. Can someone provide some guidance on how to correct this, if possible, so I can fly and enjoy my new cockpit additions.
I have been emailing back and forth with Kieron at Tek Creations and they have been great, but I presume that they are on Christmas break and it could be a few days before I get word back from the email that I sent today.
Cheers and Merry Christmas,
Wayne Wilson
Did you ever find a soulition to the problems you where experincing? I'm starting to have the same problems now with my TEK Creations controllers also. I have all the recent firmware updates installed, but the panels freeze about 20 mins of use. It's my understanding his F-18 controller will not work in the DCS Flight Panel fork either. Maybe he is working on a code up date for his controllers.

Nice review very informative. I own the Plus version and modified it with a damper to control the friction and it works great. I also believe the internal friction controls is a weak point of this controller and eventually wear out, and force others to seek their own remedies. On the throttle topic it's ok, but I wouldn't purchase this version if I had to do it over. Again nice job!

I've been using the instant/FFB option ever since the release of the Ka-50 with my Warthog and now with my VKB Ultimate controller. I never could get use to the return to center option.
-
I have a VKB Ultimate Pro on a 200mm extension and like earlier post I can't imagine using it as a side stick but I did give it a try for at least 2 minutes. It's very comfortable and precise mounted in the center.

I have now gotten pretty used to using my Crosswind Pedals with Damper so I set none for the pedals, and center spring for the stick. Doing decently with it now and I don't even need the axis display any more in my VR headset. Thankfully I broke the habit of wanting to return my pedals to center after trimming. And yeah I trim in small increments.
Same here with my damper modified Crosswind pedals, I removed the spring and changed the setting to FFB no spring and loving it. This also works great with the Ka-50, Mi-8 and the Huey.

You are not alone! This is my problem too. I'm searching for solution for months.
My next try is to use DCSFlightpanels. It's using the same DCS-Arduino library.
The disconnect issue is not: energy saving options, wrong USB-Hubs, non-powered USB-Hubs, clones of Arduinos, Ground loops in wiring,Sometimes DCS-BIOS Hub filled up my 32 GByte RAM! I think, there is no way to use it anymore. It's not updated since 2019...
Whenever you find a quick solution - let me know!
Michael
I'm having the same problem, I have several Arduino board running, and lately it appears that sometime the BIOS just shutdown and all the Arduinos just freezes along with the DCS-HUB, my other button boxes continue to work great. All my Arduinos are connected to powered hubs and as mentioned power saving is not the issue. I tried the DCSFlightpanels but wasn't able to get any positive results from it maybe because I'm using DCS open beta. Maybe another look might be in order, unless an update to the BIOS is coming.

I will agree with many others here I fly single player mostly, and this module is going to be a good one, after I get over the learning curve, and a few more patches.
