  1. Yep... I didn't thought about pressure pads that's why I deleted my previous answer in order to make another but you was faster than me :p I can't remember but I think that Saitek's ST software allows to set the mini stick as normal axis instead of emulate a mouse and then you can assign those axis to the shkval axis in DCS... but then Iḿ affraid that the shkval will follow when the mini stick returns to center which will be annoying. BTW I think that in BS we have both digital/analog control... we have four options in the cyclic section (for digital d-pad or hat switch) and the Absolute Horizontal/Vertical in the axis xommand section... but please correct me if I'm worng (again) Regards P.S: I will do some test with my x52 tonight and see if I can assign the mini stick to the shkval axis. I will report the results here
  2. I got that wrong then... thanks for clarification
  3. "Cause I'm a pilot, I only care about me I don't give a .... if I bring your jet back code 2 or code 3 I'm a pilot and I never make mistakes I'll take the credit if it aint broken, I'll blame you if it breaks" WTF...:megalol: dude, you made my day... I'll be singing this song years to come lol
  4. You will get it back automatically, wouldn't you? According to this thread... starforce will restore it next month or so... Please correct me if I'm wrong
  5. Awesome... It's really pleasant to see the Toad receiving so much love... Thanks ED
  6. That's one of the many Chuck Norris' skin for the Kamov... only used when he wanted to be seen... this is the "Don't mess with me" version :megalol: I'm relly sorry for hijacking your post dude but I couldn't resist :clown:
  7. Cheating...? Who's cheating? I'm not cheating ( stealthily pressing the "labels off"button) :music_whistling: Thanks guys
  8. Last night I was checking SU-25T manual that came with my DCS World installation and found that, according to page 43 of that manual, the SU-25T's Voice Message System is capable of warning the pilot about missile launches in the same fashion as the wingie... something like "Missile, 9 o'clock high" Now, I've been shot down many times by missiles and I don't remember being verbally warned... just the normal Beryoza tones. I know that the SU-25T in DCS world is carried from FC2 but Is this an error of the manual or just that isn't currently implemented? Thanks in advance
  9. Exactly... I'm not fully aware of Beryoza's capabilities but I can assure than it will warn you when a missile is being guided towards your aircraft, with a different tone than if the sam is just tracking you, but is up to the pilot to fire counter-measures... (may be is time to ask manuel for those capabilities) Last night I was practicing some SEAD against a Patriot System (radar, command center and 4 launchers) and Interestingly I noticed that when doing hard turns at high speed the RWR stops warning you for a couple of seconds then resumes the warning... I'm wondering if is a Beryoza's behavior or if is the patriot loosing track of the aircraft due to the maneuver?
  10. That's a monstrous laptop no doubt of it...
  11. It's not like you will have problems running games on the Quadro, what we are trying to say is that they sold you a GFX that is optimized for a different thing than gaming and is about twice expensive... Quadro's are more stable and have better support... yes... but they are not certified for gaming As a "simple" example: Let's suppose that the latest and greatest <put your favorite game tittle here> suffers from a performance drop (or FPS drop) due to an issue in the geforce driver with the Geforce GTX680M... there will be geforce users complaining about it and Nvidia will have solve the problem asap because the Geforce is their "gaming product". In other hand if the same issue is suffered with the Quadro's driver well, Nvidia can just reply to the issue something like: Quadro's are not meant to be used for gaming and we will not be adding gaming optimizations to Quadro's drivers Anyway, take what I stated before with a bit grain of salt. I have no relationship with Nvidia or Dell and I'm not computer guru... but I'm quite sure they sold a laptop that is not for gaming... regards
  12. +1 For about the same price he could have bought an Alienware M18x with Dual Geforce GTX680M and enjoy it with games that are SLI enabled... or if the laptop is just for DCS then save money by buying it with only one GTX680M and spend the rest in something else. AFAIK both the Quadro K5000M and the Geforce GTX680M are based on Kepler's GK104 chip so they are almost the same card, but the former is more expensive becuase they have a special support service and a driver optimized for stability and performance in 3D CAD (as previously stated by other forum's users) Anyway, if you cann't return it then enjoy it...
  13. I haven't tried the KA-50 trainning but I was getting the same behavior while trying to use the SU-25T trainning videos... I corrected this by aplying this fixes Temporary Sound fix by Wags DCS World Trainning Video Hot Fix by Chizh Hope it helps
