  1. How is that scary? How is that different from anywhere else?
  2. Uh okay. My point was flyable assets from both sides, not just a lob sided event. So not sure where the whole free thing even matters to me. My concern is I want to learn the attributes of both sides of every conflict. Hard to do that with inaccurate enemy AI models that are casually thrown in as part of a NATO sim.
  3. Ah, okay, Thanks for pointing it out. Considering some of the closed minded comments on this sub forum recently, I guess I quite happy they got deleted.
  4. I agree. I wouldn’t buy this map, the Corsair or the Hellcat until there are flyable opponents for those.
  5. Hopefully. Too bad they are not doing different pilot liveries any more, as they had promised in the interview with that YouTuber with the annoying voice.
  6. Some other potential 3rd party is already working on the MiG-17. Or at least that’s what they promised for last year. Orphan? Huh? I also vote for La-11. Would be nice to have that 5 hour range in such a small package, that is still maneuverable at mid to low altitude.
  7. I completely agree. The whole CGI thing has been way overplayed for decades now. Just more of the corporate world trying to use each and every possible form of automation to squeeze more profits, while paying workers less, while the soul of everything, whether work or art is destroyed. Talk about overdoing it. Everything looks like Pixar now. Any you are right, PLAAF, that cartoon was refreshing and does look like a moving painting.
  8. I imagine it is no different than The Mighty Hercules. Someone without knowledge of that mythology might find a talking centaur quite weird as well. interestingly, both cartoons seem to share similar drawing or animations styles, which are quite different from what we see anywhere today. So differences seem to be less related to regions or cultures and more due times or eras. Could this suggest that the lack of tolerance of various political entities nowadays against other geopolitical opponents could be in comparison less than the lack of tolerance the same political entities might have for their own culture from just a few decades ago?
  9. That was an interesting conclusion. With all the soldiers around, the one to kill the guy in the end was the bird
  10. I’m a bit confused. Which post above was not DCS related?
  11. Thanks Torbernite for sharing this news! And Thanks Deka for making this happen! Looking forward to trying on this pilot model!
