  1. +1 to the idea of an airquake server, with airspawns at short distances...
  2. It would be great if there were at least one driveable tank for each side. A lot of people, including me can have a lot of fun with just one tank, while waiting for the other ones.
  3. Thank you guys! I really hope the brick issue were only for earlier units, anyway I will make sure if the option for a refund is available. By the way, here is the link of the throttle on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T5X3Z2S?keywords=warthog%20throttle&qid=1444349242&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1 Best Regards
  4. Hi guys It was a nice surprise for me to watch the throttle alone on sale on amazon... Inmediately think I want it, I want it... however I remember that some units (joystick and throttle) have problems with circuit boards and they got bricked. Anyone knows if the throttle unit alone has this same brick problem? I hope the answer is no, because I really want to have one of this for christmas :D Regards!
  5. Thanks for your advice guys, I really appreciate all comments  I definitively will go for Ivy Bridge, but will wait a couple of weeks, maybe I can find a special offer due to christmas. Thanks again and have a nice day.
  6. Hello gentlemen That's my doubt, will be a good investment update to an Ivy Bridge or should I wait for Haswell?
  7. Hi guys, this a little mod I made to the Pro Pedals using the handgrip of a toner cartrigde, with it it's more easy to apply the breaks, feels more comfortable and looks better. The handgrip is attached to the pedal with epoxy glue and with krazy kola at the sides of it. Greetings :pilotfly:
  8. Thank you very much for the links, I'll check it out
  9. Hi, yep I got the 6288 version, but the fps are really bad, with the 1.2.0 and my previous ati 5770 even with imported mfcd, rwr and other indicator it runs at 30 fps average, recently got a GTX 670 thinking it will run better the 1.2.1 and only win 10 fps, and it get worse because if the pod is switched on the fps down to 20 or 25 and the same with exported indicators. That's why I decide to install again the previous version. However other games runs really smooth, battlefield 3 in ultra, rise of flight with everything set in max, except my favorite the warthog  By the way in case I don't found the 1.2.0 installer of the modules in my pc, are they available for download? Thanks
  10. Hi guys, I would love to install again the DCS World 1.2.0, because the 1.2.1 doesn't run too well in my pc, I have the installer of the 1.2.0 but I don't remember which one is the previous version of the hog and the P-51 prior to 1.2.1. Someone could tell me please what version was and are they still available for download? Thanks in advance
  11. Hi guys, I asked in the store but they don't have the 4gb version, it will take two or more weeks to resupply, and I can't wait. :smilewink: However I will be running the sim with just two monitors, additional ones will come later. Thank for your advice  Best Regards
  12. Glad you mentioned it, because I have that doubt, if I add two more monitors to have an eyefinity style desktop plus the 4th monitor for helios, such configuration will make fps drop too much?
  13. Hi again About the pc case door, let's say it's a very well constructed, with a lot of internal space but not the best lateral cooling solution (8 mm fan generation :music_whistling:) I adapt it a 23" cooler master fan, but since I don't have how to control the fan RPM, I choose to let the air flow freely inside the case, fortunately not to many cables inside LOL Well here is the verdict: Gigabyte Card: Pros: 1- Cheaper than the ASUS option 2- One extra fan, make it looks cool, but I don't want it for exhibition :smilewink: Cons: 1- Finished below the ASUS in all the test I read 2- It has 1x 6 Pin and 1x 8 Pin and my power supply has only two 6 Pin connectors Asus Card: Pros: 1- Better performance than the Gigabyte card 2- two 6 Pin connectors in PCB, and my power supply has both Cons: 1- A little bit expensive than Gigabyte 2- One less fan, but that doesn't mean the cooling system it's not efficient WINNER: Asus GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU 2 TOP 2GB Thank a lot guys, you were very kind (I will give a second chance to the lateral fan, and that link with that review was very helpfull)
  14. Hi guys, need your advice before buying, will upgrade the video card for a GTX 670 to play DCS, Rise of Flight and Battlefield 3, but there are two options available: GIGABYTE GV-N670OC-2GD GeForce GTX 670 Windforce OC 2048MB Asus GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU 2 TOP 2GB Which one do you recomend? The gigabyte card is my first choice because the 3 fans and the room where I play is really hot (it's my workshop :smilewink:), I even have my PC case without the lateral door to keep all the components as cool as posible. Thanks for your advice
  15. LOL that is a really "quick quicksand"
  16. Sounds very tempting, will check it out this weekend and see what sensors and magnets are available at the store, and maybe apply it too to the trim box.
  17. Don't look complicated, but about linearity, you said it's affected by the magnet position, in that case they need to be place in an exact position and distance from the sensor?
  18. sorry I viewed the post after posting the questions  using hall effect sensors will be cool, but I have no experience using them, will have to stay with the pots in the ms joy.
  19. Wow great images, and have no idea about that post, but it's amazing, thanks a lot. I'll try to make it in stages, first one is testing the "weight" of the extension made of copper, the length will be aproximatelly 12 to 15 cm, if the MS joystick works fine, the next step will be the mapping and soldering of the new wires for both joysticks and make use of the buttons from the MS joystick. Here are some images of the work in progress
  20. Hello PeterP In that case will be the tinned cable, is more flexible than the other but it's thicker. By the way two questions? 1- Do you think a counterweight will be needed, the fighterstick grip is very light but what do you think? 2- Can you explain me a little bit about how to "disable" the detection of the diode in the MS FF grip without disabling the whole joystick? Thanks :smilewink:
  21. Hi, will try to make an extension using a MS FF2 and CH Figherstick, and in the store there are two different kind of wires. I noticed the joysticks use a very thin cable, so my doubt is which one is the most appropiate. :helpsmilie: Thanks
  22. The last week something similar happend to me, I was playing and everything was fine, the next day, all the axis of every joystick and pedal were "re-assigned" with no sense, so I clear all of them in the config, and assign them one by one, and now everything is fine. That was the first time I saw something like that. Do as other members says, erase the folder that store joysticks configurations, enter the game and clear every axis on the category DCS A-10C Game and DCS A-10C Sim and reassign them, that should work.
  23. Hi, I had the same problem with my saitek pedals and I fix it marking the invert box in the assign page of every wheel brake, try that if you are using pedals too. About the input in the dsms, no idea, I have long time no flying the warthog. Hope it helps
