Suncom SFS and Talon restoration and mods
Killin Duck replied to debolestis's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
This is gorgeous ! -
Thank you guys :) SLDPRT files are provided along with STL ones, so I edited the original files with Fusion360 to remove 2mm on each halves. You have to reshape some areas, but it's still easier than create the whole thing ^^'.
-
Hello, Here is the result with 2mm removed from the width of each halves. Could not resist to print an adapter to mount the stick on the TM base :) sorry for the quality of the pics...
-
Hello sagil, Thanks for sharing the links :) Printed the grip this week-end, had some fun placing M3 nuts while printing because my printer doesn't support pause during print ^^' Now I need to order all the components and create the adapter for my base. More to come !
-
Hello Sagil, Started printing the small parts, result is pretty good ATM. I contact you thru CGT site but I don't know you receive any notice so trying my luck here. Would you mind sharing links for switches / pot / rotary tou used ? It would be easier for us (well, at list, me) to get the proper parts. Thank you. Mathieu

Mine is only working properly with the A-10C, with the Hornet the light stay alway on. I read somewhere that it was normal.

Hello, Made the mod with debolestis PCB and tailpiece. Working like charm, next topic will be to replace the stock switch for the Auto Acquisition Switch but I don't know what to do yet.
-
Nice job ! I wonder what software you used to create the panel, I'm using Fusion 360 but the MS-33558 is not recognized...
-
Received mine also :) #1365 Installed without any trouble, fit like a glove. Calibrated without issue but not tested in game yet. Thank you Damien ! Edit : tested last week-end, the result is unbelievable, what an improvement !!!
-
Hello sagil, Is it possible to get the actual dimensions of the stick in order to see if my buddy can print it ? Thanks, Mathieu
-
Looks like mine (#1365) should come shortly :)

Flaps MVR (middle position) really not assignable?
Killin Duck replied to Boris's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Hello, It depend the I/O device you use. If use a Pokeys and you can assign 'triggered input" so you can assign a mapping when the key (switch) goes up and when the key goes down. -
Far from being finished, but that's what it looks like ATM. Black panel is from pcflights.com (UFCP not installed yet) and white ones are home made (WIP) from plasticard. Edit : little update with some paint applied and my brand new UFCP Buddy-Fox !

Suncom SFS and Talon restoration and mods
Killin Duck replied to debolestis's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hello, I've a question regarding Auto Acquisition Switch : what items would be needed to convert the stock push button to a FWD / PUSH DOWN /AFT switch ? I plan to get a Leobonar / Pokeys57 to make some panels and I was thinking I could use the board with the proper switch (which one ?)... Any idea ? Mathieu -

Got the solution this morning after opening the stick again : coolie hat jumped out off his shaft, pushed by the spring :music_whistling: So I was able to work on the plate located on the shaft to reduce it's thickness. No need to remove some material on the nipples  -

Hello, Received all my parts this week, so I had to start converting the Hawk :) Still need to solder the pinkie, autolock switches and mini-DIN connector but old grease inside have been removed and the new PCB is installed. I'm a little concerned about the trim button because I can't really feel the switches when moving it (I clearly hear the castle ones) but I'll check this point once everyting is soldered. Edit : I tested the stick on the Warthog base and the trim switch is not working properly. I'll try to cut 1mm off the nipple switches on the PCB and see how it perform. All other switches are working as intended ;) -

Hi all, Got my parts from shapeways today, and (as for the PCB) I'm quite pleased with the quality of them. Can't wait to receive my Suncom :D -

Killin Duck replied to Killin Duck's topic in Français
Killin Duck replied to Killin Duck's topic in Français
KD
