  1. the second L next to the range is source for the ranging information. so L means the laser is the source, T means TGP is the source. laser timing out before mav impact is a reported bug. until its fixed(~2049) try shooting below 6nm or manually toggling the laser.
  2. just to verify, the A-10C and A-10CII are two compeletly seprate modules and need binding for each seprately. the picture shows A-10C which a mistake on my end. i believe you need the A-10C installed for the A-10CII to work. not sure how how and when you purchased it but it might the issue. and very long strech and you probably know this, but just to make sure, if the aircraft is cold hydraulics dont work so only pitch will move the stick incockpit. when binding the axis mapping you can see the little white line moving with input and also on the axis tune screen. a10 is sure an amazing module. hope you figure it out.
  3. I'm guessing your first problem is mixing game control/avionics mode. First, make sure you have game mode unchecked. to do that, go into options from the main menu, choose gameplay tab, uncheck the two first boxes. next, you need to bind the control for the A-10CII real to do that, go into options from the main menu, choose controls tab, on the top left find and choose A-10CII real as for deleting all the keybinds, under the above controls click on one of the keys under keyboard categoty and click reset category to default laslty, DCS does badly for auto mapping, you need to manually bind every button and axis hope it helps.
  4. With 4 AIM-9s loaded, using china hat aft to return to boresight and change station will cause the the AIM-9s to turn off. If fired in this case the last AIM-9 will remain unusable. In the included track i am pressing china hat aft 3 times in a row, on DSMS page the aim9s gets switched to OFF status. After firing 3 missiles, the seeker circle on the hud for the fourth missile does not come back. to reproduce, load 4 aim9s hold mastermode switch long to enter air to air mode press china hat aft 3 times fire 3 missiles. Thanks. A10_AIM9_OFF.trk
  5. Selecting through DSMS should not affect autolase if set up correctly, it's just a bad habbit since it opens a big window for user error. I think the bug with selecting through hotas is not about guidance but about CCRP invalid problem. By failed to lase do you mean an autolase failed message appeared or just that the laser never fired. for autolase to work you need a solid A, if it's flashing or doesn't appear at all you wont get autolase. iv'e yet to see autolase fail with a solid A. anyway for the case of the author it is a user error.
  6. to be less confusing, your tgp is not tracking anything so it cannot lase. you need to press TMS up with the TGP as SOI before you drop the bomb.
  7. Autolase fail can happen for a few reasons. No point/area track which is the case for your fail. your tgp is slaved to stpt but not tracking so the laser can not fire. you can tell by the large cross. always make sure you have a point/area track. other reasons are related to the countdown timer which is what the autolase is using to determine when to fire. for example, shooting a mav before dropping a bomb means the auto lase will try to use the mav timer and that will cause a fail. make sure the timer shows the predicted fall time and not counting down for other weapons. lastly, there are other rare reasons that i could never figure out but there is a failsafe way to prevent a fail. watch the tgp at the bottom next to the laser code, if you have a flashing A next to the code the laser is not ready to fire. and on another note, as others have suggested, dont edit or select weapons directly through the DSMS page. instead use the profile page and hotas DMS commands to select profiles.
  8. works with ground crew. you need to have the SMS running and DTC loaded with your loaodut
  9. For those who have the issue above you need to map the ant axis to T6 slide. uboats, thanks for the fix, i dont want to come out as ungrateful but there is still a small deadzone around the 0 elevation. meaning the antenna cannot be set to 0 degrees. if you can give it another small adjustment that would be awesome
  10. https://streamable.com/1e3mub https://streamable.com/1e3mub Here's a video showing the problem. I normally use the wheel axis on Thrustmaster TWCS. In the video i try to bind the the ministick on the same device(JOY_Y), as well as the stick Y axis on CH fighter stick. i did as mentioned tried on every other axis i have off the video. playing with axis as demonstrated has no effect, the -+ 3 degree deadzone is always there. i also tried to show it is not an hardware problem as all axis pass smoothly through the center position. if any other information is needed let me know and ill do my best to provide. Thanks.
  11. Thanks for reply. to make sure its not hardware issue on my end i have tried using all analog axis i have. this includes, wheel axis and Z axis on Thrustmaster TWCS wheel axis and X and Y axis on CH PRODUCTS stick and throttle I have also tried changing axis setting which includes, slider checkbox enabling and disabling deadzone. I also tried repairing DCS and reinstalling the JF module Thanks.
  12. I'm using axis to control the ant elev, cannot set the elevation to 1 or 2 degrees. when moving the antenna it jumps to 3 degree high or low. This is working fine when using keybinds, only happens with axis. Track attached Thanks. JF17_ANT_EL.trk
  13. Added 2 tracks with the issue The TD box on the HUD is not moving along with the TGP, this means the SPI and designation is not updating with the TGP and the SPI is glued to the STPT, CCRP cues will guide to the SPI and not the TGP. in the 2nd track the problem is apparent when trying to slew the maverick it will snap back to the old SPI and its impossible to slew it. To reproduce: With the TGP on STPT, TMS UP/RIGHT to initiate track and slew it. it is not consistent and may require a few slew attempts but it is easily reproduceable. note that trying to slew the TGP without initiating a track will set the SPI on the TGP correctly however its not always possible to slew without a track.
