I do not like DCS Pixel Density (DP) adjustments, as it does not show your real resolution. It works as a multiplier to e.g VD / SteamVR.
Makes it harder for others to compare. Better to adjust the absolute resolution in appropriate tool (for me either OXRTK or SteamVR).Also I use foveated rendering via OXRTK, instead of using Quad views (DFR), as I have a powerful GPU.
But for any headset with eyetracking Quad views is the way to go!

That is certainly not normal. Wishing you the best in getting it figured out. PC's can be quite the fickle thing...
Please note my mind is now going so take what I suggest with a grain of salt. Hopefully it contains at least some good information.

I find after a windows up date, it gets reset to the default.
This may cause freezes and other issues.

My point is, spend money on a good PC-rig before buying high end VR-headsets...Both is the best (if you can afford it).
Aero has been reduced to 990 USD now.
Aero plus DCS = incredible experience due to tracking.

There just was a new upgrade to the varjo software
... no reprojection ... There is reprojection. It is called motion smoothing on the Aero. I prefer to just run 45 FPS sync without this feature and I am able to run high DCS settings in this mode on a 5600&3080 (Visib. Range Extreme, ...) It looks quite nice

The Aero is performing much better on the same hardware than the Reverb. Many people can perhaps forgo a hardware upgrade by switching to the Aero.

Gave DLAA a try late yesterday. Wow I am sold on this, sim is gorgeous and I see absolutely no shimmering anywhere.

DLSS and DLAA can't be used together. You chose one or the other. I prefer DLAA because I have the pimax crystal for it's visual clarity and DLSS reduces the quality significantly.
Also make sure you set sharpening around 0.6.
I only got a tiny amount of testing DLAA on my system before something came up and had to be away for few days. Hoping to be able to later today, very anxious to try DLAA out in a good run with it in DCS.

Hey guys a quick update on my current situation. (have previously been putting this under the DCS Forum)
I will also be posting this in the VR forum as I spend so much time in there. My apologies to Mods if you have to remove it I understand but my wish would be for it to stay. I have many virtual friends that frequent that forum.
Cancer has now spread, was in hospital last three days. They did MRI yesterday; it is now in many places including my spine. Cancer originated in my left lung with a tumor, and also had in 5 nodes in lung). While scan did not cover my head, I suspect based on my inability to think clearly and do things that should be second nature I am pretty sure it is also in brain now.
When time comes if you see I have not posted in a week or longer in VR forum - that is where I spend bulk of my time - have a virtual toast for me, I know I will be in heaven with my family that preceded me - so yeah have a virtual toast remember good ole Don (dburne). Love you guys, and being a part of this forum since the original stand alone Black Shark has been a huge blessing for me.Thank you gang, it has been a true honor and brought me great enjoyment you all virtually. May God Bless you all!! I will hang in and continue my posting for as long as I can.

I am putting this here as it really is not a question seeking help but just a statement.
I am getting so frustrated of late, I have been flying DCS since the original stand alone KA-50 was released. Here lately I swear I have spent more hours troubleshooting than flying my favorite game. Mostly only game I play. This is getting to be not much fun.
I will persevere a little longer and hope for much better days ahead.
